Xavier Aptitude Test
Dear Sheikh,
If you do not get a good college in the first attempt but you wish to crack CAT or XAT, you should surely take a gap year.
A gap year will provide you enough of time and opportunity to prove yourself. You need to work very hard and try your best to get into your dream college. You should be confident enough and focus on your preparation. You should make a good time table during this gap year.
Other things to do in a gap year:
1. Do MOOCS courses on relevant subjects to improve your preparation.
2. Contribute articles to different magazines.
3. Do some NGO work.
4. You can also start your own private tuition centre. Make sure to register it so that you can add it to your CV.
5. Do internships to gain work experience.
These can surely help you to justify your gap year.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.

Hello Aspirant ,
With 5 marks in XAT(Xavier Aptitude Test ) your percentile will be very low around 20-30 percentile and with this percentile getting admission in any business school is impossible .You need minimum 90 percentile which is around 30 marks in XAT for a good college.
However , you can take a drop year and prepare again for this exam and get into your dream business college next year , but it will require a lot of practice and serious preparation. You can also attempt other exams like CAT , NMAT ,MAT , they have similar syllabus and are for admission in business colleges.

Hi,
Hope you are doing great.
It is difficult to tell you that you will get this percentile at a score of 16 because it all depends upon the performance of the other guys in the exam.
But this score will someway lead to around 60 percentile. It can be a little higher than 60 or a little lower than 60.
If you want to know what colleges you can apply to with this score, you can simply use the link:
Hope it helps.
Hello, I hope you are doing well
Your percentile depends upon some other factors other than your score, such as score of other candidates in the exam.
You will get around 60-62 percentile at a score of 16, again this percentile is not precise and the final percentile could be more or less than 60 percentile.
You can use the college predictor given below to get info about your chances in different colleges:
