Xavier Aptitude Test

Hi ruchika,
Comparing two entrance exams are quite difficult as some people have their opinions to justify their answers. See, comparing examination depends upon several factors, these are:
In my views, SNAP exam is easy than XAT. SNAP js very similar to national level MBA entrance exams like CAT, XAT, NMAT. Snap exam is quite easy then other exams for MBA. The difficulty level varies as per the requirement of candidates in a particular course for a particular university.
Snap Exam is conducted by Symbiosis International University, PUNE which is a mandatory exam for MBA.
So, if you are interested in pursuing MBA from Symbiosis then you are required to give SNAP exam.

cat ,xat and snap are highly one of the most competitive exams in our country where Around 2 lakh candidates appeared for the exam. the number of seats being limited makes it more competitive
but through right effort and hard work anything is achieved
best book for the above exams
Verbal Ability
Logical Reasoning
Quantitative Ability (QA)
these are quite popular books used by multiple people after solving the books try solving as many sample papers as possible .
good luck
XAT occurs once a year, but it has no limits on the amount of attempts you can take. You can retake it every year until you get your desired score. SNAP is conducted thrice a year, but a candidate can apply to maximum 2 attempts in one year. Hope this helps, good luck!
Hi, there are differences in all of those exams. If not everything but at least some of the things are different. GMAT has a fixed pattern, fixed number of questions and fixed syllabus. XAT, SNAP, NMAT are not fixed as in the portion can change anytime the college prefers to. GMAT is more focused on critical thinking and other exams are more focused on mathematical/ verbal mastery. So, there might be a possibility that preparing for GMAT's analytical part give you an upper hand and vice versa. If you still have doubts feel free to comment. Hope this helps.
Hello Aspirant ,
No with only 62 percentile in XAT entrance exam you will not be able to get XIMB for any course even if you have a good enough past academic records. The cutoff for XIM usually ends around 90 percentile .You will not get any college which accepts XAT with only 62 percentile but you can try other entrance exams like CAT ,GMAT etc.
