Hello Aspirant MAT exam is conducted by AIMA( All India Management Association) for admissions into B schools. The minimum eligibility criteria for the same is an under-graduation from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate for general category students and 45% for SC, ST, and OBC. CAT is conducted by IIMs and the minimum eligibility to appear in the exam is an aggregate score of 50% in under-graduation for General category students and 45% aggregate for SC, ST, OBC candidates.

There are several phases in the CAT test procedure to gain admission to IIM: Group Discussion (GD), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI). Following the CAT exams, IIMs start choosing applicants for their graduate programmes.
