priyaankasarkar Student Expert 30th Aug, 2019
Dear Suman, to start off, to be eligible for XIMB, BBSR, you should have completed your Bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 55%. The Institute will decide the section wise as well as total cut off marks which will be used for shortlisting the Candidates for Written Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. These rounds will be held in Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai. To be shortlisted for this round, your XAT score should be nothing less than 95 percentile. Because in the past it was 92 percentile.

If i prepare for bank PO exam ibps n all can i clear xat through that material also?

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 8th Jul, 2019

The syllabus for Bank PO and Management entrance exams are more or less the same, the only difference is the question pattern. If you go through SBI PO questions you'll realize they have quite increased their level of difficulty similar to that of CAT or XAT.

So read the same material for both PO and XAT exam, but just go through the pattern of questions once so you can clear both the exams.

One thing that you'll need to focus on in XAT exam is that they ask a lot of cases based questions where they'll provide you an organization scenario and you'll have to answer the decision you'll take.

All the very best

Ive got 65% in 10th, 60.2% in 12th and 64.5% in B.tech. If Ive scored 99+ percentile in IIFT or XAT will i get a call those institutions?

Shreyansh Agarwal 9th Aug, 2019

hi newin!

your xat score is good but due to a lower percentage in 10th, 12th and btech, you may only get tier 2 collages .you may expect a call from tier 1 if you have one of the following, due to work experience or some great career achievement.

hopefully my answer helps

I got 47.8 percentage in graduation, can i get any management college by good xat score?

Ramsha_1482736792 Student Expert 10th Jun, 2019
Yes, you can get a good college depending upon your XAT score. XAT is more difficult than other MBA exams.
Since, you have this percentage you need to make sure that you have valuable skills with you.
In your profile mention everything you are good at and your achievements.
Your overall knowledge, experience and skills will help  you to shine over your graduation percentile.
