Yes tancet is necessary for MCA as admission in Loyola college is based on the rank in TANCET.For MCA programme, candidates must be graduate with Mathematics as a subject in graduation or at 10+2 level. According to the expected Cutoffs, With this percentile it is very very difficult for to take admission in Anna University and top participating Institutions. But the Cutoff fluctuates every year, so don't lose hope. However, Official cutoff for TANCET 2021 has not been released by Anna University, conducting body of TANCET exam 2021 on behalf of Tamilnadu government.

There's no particular cutoff for Mtech in Amrita vishwa Vidyapeetham University, you get direct admission if you have qualified GATE, while for non-GATE students get admission through their performance,

While you have a good and valid percentile score in TANCET, you can apply for the admissions and you have to wait for the final list.

As you have 70.770 percentile, you have a good chance of getting selected.its better if you go apply for the admission as soon as possible.
