First of all I don't how you got your UG graduation degree if you have failed in 12th maths. The eligibility for UG is,the candidate has to pass 12th standard with a minimum of 50%. Then the candidate will be given admission for any of the UG degrees. Since you haven't cleared you 12th standard you cannot take Symbiosis National Aptitude Test.

Hey! So i have this query about the admission process in the mba/pgdm program. I have planned to give snap, ibsat, and cmat but i am confused regarding the registrations in colleges. What is the seat locking system?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 24th Sep, 2019

Dear Shivani, there is no option of Seat locking at any these exams that you have mentioned. Admisisons are conducted based on merit list in the selection process. Because these are Institute level entrance exams, you dont have the option of locking a seat.

SNAP: You need to appear for SNAP and score the minimum cut off to be eligible for shortlisting. The shortlisted Candidates have to appear for GE-PIWAT and the final merit list is prepared based on the performance in GE-PIWAT.

IBSAT: The process is similar to that of SNAP. Candidates need to qualify in IBSAT and secure the minimum qualifying marks. Candidates will be shortlisted based on Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

CMAT: AICTE approved Institutions that participate in CMAT will conduct the selection procedure. Candidates will have to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview based on the Institution they are interested in joining. how tough is it going to be for one to score 90% in Snap 2019 and how much questions one need to solve to get 99% ?

minshul gupta 31st Aug, 2020

hello ankit sinha,
It's difficult to score 90% in snap, but not impossible. But for this you need to attempt the maximum questions with the correct answer i.e. for 99% you have to attempt almost every question with correct answers so that is why it is difficult but not impossible.

i hope you get my point. And I wish you wonderful luck.
All the best and till then stay home and stay safe.
