Symbiosis National Aptitude Test
Dear Aspirant,
Having decided to attempt SNAP, there are two key decisions that need to be made –
As far the first question goes, with a maximum of two available attempts, one can decide to either utilize it and go for 2 attempts, or if one is confident, choose only one attempt. Date again is a question of availability of the slots. However, the major decision is the attempts, as the scores will be normalized and the best of two attempts (if at all) will be considered for percentile.
Now as far as the second question is concerned, the top colleges coming under SIU are SIBM Pune, SCMHRD Pune, SIIB Pune and SIBM Bangalore. There are also a plethora of other colleges offering various MBA programs under SIU. One look at the mock scores can help you figure out where to invest the application fee in. Personally, I’d apply not only to the colleges in my mock bracket of scores, but also a couple above and below. These act as safety nets to account for the D-Day performance. Also, if money is not a factor, I would advice one to consider applying for SIBM Pune and SCMHRD given that both of them are amongst the top B Schools in the country and that is a punt one can take, instead of being sorry when the result comes out, only to receive a high percentile but not have applied for the said colleges.
Now having taken the above decisions, there are two check points to be crossed –
Please note that the deadlines for all of these action items are different. The deadline for applying for the SNAP exam was 30 th November 2020. However, just applying and attempting SNAP does not make one eligible for admission into any program at the various colleges. The programs have to be selected and applied for separately. Each program carries a fee of 1000 on an average. And each college has multiple programs. In order to understand the same completely, I’d advise you to have a look at the various colleges and the programs they provide in the following page – https://www.snaptest.org/symbiosis-entrance-exam-for-mba.html
Cheers and all the best!
Hi,
SNAP will be conducted using the computer-based test , or CBT in short, mode.
Well it depends on whether you have paid the application fee or not.
The application fee will be Rs. 1750/- for each attempt of SNAP 2020. The candidate has to decide if he/she plans to give SNAP ONCE or TWO times
If you have already paid the application fee, then I do not think you will be able to modify or edit your preferences.
If you have not paid feees and halfway through form, I guess you can edit in the application by contacting the necessary authorities.
Contact:
This is a very serious issue and there is a chance that your application may get rejected. How can you get your such an important detail like your name wrong ?
I do not think there is an option to edit in SNAP form. You can try contacting them and let them know about your issues.

As far as the particular details required for SIIB application goes, you can fill in ‘Other’ in both Educational specialization as well as ‘Work experience’ considering that you are a fresher and that your specialization of BBA in finance is not an option given in the drop-down menu. Additionally, for the IB program, there is a provision for you to mark whether you’re a child of defense personnel, where you can mark your respective response.
For further queries relating to SIIB application, you can get in touch with their admission team at admissions@siib.ac.in (mailto:admissions@siib.ac.in) and 020 – 22944400. Check out the other contact details in the following website - https://www.siib.ac.in/site/contact.
Please note that there are two key payment steps involved in the SNAP process. First you have to register yourself on the website - https://www.snaptest.org - before filling the applicant details and other required information, selecting the slot(s) and cities. Please note that this time SNAP gives you two cracks at the exam, i.e., out of the three provided dates (20 Dec, 6 Jan and 9 Jan), you can select up to a maximum of 2 dates and write SNAP up to two times, and the best out of your two performances will be considered. The last date for this step was 28 November. However, it has been extended till the midnight of 30 November. The fee for the same is Rs. 1750 for each attempt.
Once the SNAP registration is done, you will have to select from a list of Symbiosis colleges accepting SNAP score, and fill the individual colleges’ application forms. Each of these forms have a separate deadline attached to them, which vary from college to college. Once again, please refer to the above-mentioned website to check the deadlines. Most of forms would have a fee of Rs. 1000 attached to them.
Hello!
They have good overall ratings. They have good placement records but highly inconsistent, average placement record is around 60%. Highest package offered is 10lakhs per annum, lowest package offered and average package offered is around 5Lakhs per annum. Few companies turn up for placement Nomura, TATA capital, etc. They have good infrastructure and teaching faculties.
This is not the best option but still it isn't a bad choice either.
ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was helpful.
Thank You
Hi there,
I hope you are doing well. Yes you can apply for SIIB only after the selection process restart next year . Till then kindly wait.
And it is advisable to be careful while selecting the options. Because it shouldn't happen that selection process end and you could not select the one you are longing for.
Thank you.
According to the rank and category mentioned by you in the question you have good chances of getting the enlisted colleges but with some lower branches like Bio-engineering, Material Science and likewise :-
And some more. Note that the above list is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
You can check out previous year's JEE-Advanced cut-off for IITs kindly refer to the link given below :-

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use JEE-Advance College Predictor:-
