Common Admission Test
Dear aspirant,
You are eligible for the category 1 counselling. VIT never releases the previous year cut-offs so, it slightly hard to make accurate predictions. Looking at the previous year stats, I'll make a few small recommendations.
You have a sure shot chance of getting ECE, Mechanical, Biotechnology in VIT Vellore campus. So, depending on what you what give the course as first option. If you don't have any preference give CSE, ECE as first choices and make sure you include the above mentioned courses as well so that your chances of getting a seat in category 1 / category 2 is high.
Hope this helps.
Hi aspirant!
Cast certificate is a caste validation certificate in itself and yes you can apply for CAT 2023 with your caste certificate as an OBC candidate. If you do not possess any caste certificate then you would be considered as a general candidate and if you possess one you can definitely apply as a candidate of the category that you have caste certificate for.
I hope this answer has resolved your query.

Hi,
As per your mentioned query you can write NIMCET examination to get admission in various universities for MCA course.
The authorities conduct the National Institute of Technology Master of Computer Applications Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) as a computer based test. NIMCET exam is conducted every year by one of the NIT for MCA admissions at NITs itself, however, various other institutes accept NIMCET scores.
To know about NIMCET eligibility criteria and participating universities visit the given link - https://it.careers360.com/exams/nimcet
Good luck !

Hope this will be useful to you.
Greetings!
Being a VIT student, I would strongly recommend you against it! Now I not at all mean it is a bad college, no it isn't it indeed is a very good college, and it has provided me with ample of opportunities. It does have a respectable reputation, excellent infrastructure, and well qualified faculty.
However at the same time, you have an 5.5K rank in mains, with that type of rank you have a very good shot at getting CSE in top NITs and IIITs, and honestly VIT pales in comparison to them, even if it is CAT 1 Vellore campus CSE core.
VIT is good but it can be termed better than IIIT Bangalore or MNIT Jaipur( both of which are well within your reach)? Well my answer to that would be a definite NO!
I would go as far as recommending my juniors to get into DAIICT over VIT, the point I am trying to make is simple, and that is if you have under 10K JEE rank, you don't need to consider VIT as an option, in any category or course whatsoever...
To get a better idea on which colleges you can get at that rank you can use following predictor

Hello Varshita,
Hope you are doing well !
To answer your question, NO, single sitting BBA won't be valid to write exams.
Because for CAT you need to complete a minimum of 3 years graduation from any recognized university, with a minimum of 50% (45% in case of SC, ST, OBC, PWD). And after that only, you are eligible.
Hope I answered your query.
Thank You.
