Sanjana 1st Aug, 2022

Hey aspirant

Congratulations for securing high rank. When we look into previous year sources, closing rank for radiology was around 2k. Radiology is one of the most competitive md course. For the above mark you have a good chance of getting admission for OBG, surgery, ophthalmology, ent, and other pre para clinical courses. what are the preparation tips for CAT exam

Nisha yadav 1st Aug, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Preparation tips on how to start CAT exam preparation without coaching are focused on the following points to guide you on how and when you should start your CAT exam preparation in 2022:

  • Go through the revised CAT exam pattern & CAT syllabus 2022 and pick out your strong and weak areas in all three sections and work on improving them
  • Gather the best books and CAT study material for the preparation
  • Take as many CAT mock tests as possible during your preparation online and analyze each test. Without analysis of the mock, attempting a mock test may not be useful.
  • If you are weak in VARC, reading different articles and novels,  conversing in Engish with friends, and even watching English TV series and movies will be helpful. Write down whatever new words you encounter after reading at least 5 - 6 newspaper articles every day.
  • Data Interpretation is considered a bit more time-consuming. Start practicing on these questions. Use approximation techniques for quick calculations.
  • Thank you

The validity of an NC-OBC certificate is generally 1 year. If any student has obtained the certificate of NC-OBC category before a time period of 1 year, then the student is advised to get the new and updated NC-OBC certificate.

You can apply for central certificate as per https://www.india.gov.in/topics/social-development/other-backward-classes

I completed my graduation in Bcom in the year 2015 where i got 49% and in 2022 I completed post graduation with firstclass from distance learning, is me elligible for CAT exams

Sayan 30th Jul, 2022

Hello,

CAT Eligibility Requirements

  • The applicant must have successfully completed a Bachelor's degree programme in any stream from an accredited university or possess an equivalent credential recognised by the Indian Ministry of Human Resource Development.
  • The minimum bachelor's degree requirement for applicants in the general and NC-OBC categories is 50%.
  • Candidates from the reserved groups must complete the bachelor's programme with a minimum cumulative percentage of 45%.
  • Candidates who are waiting for their results or are in their last year of the programme may also apply. In these situations, a candidate must present a certificate by the stated date that has been granted by the Principal/Registrar of the College/Institution. The completion of the course's criteria should be attested to on the certificate.

So, if your post graduation degree have minimum 50% then you are eligible. As per your B.Com (//B.Com) degree, you are not eligible because you don't have at least 50%.

Thank You
