IIM Amritsar, Punjab is the 16th IIM and 4th among the 6 new IIMs to announce the admission for the academic year 2015-17. IIM Kozhikode, the mentor IIM Amritsar has announced the admission criteria, schedule and fee information.
The session will commence from July 2015 and is expected to admit 60 to 70 students. If you had applied for IIM Amritsar, you can send your confirmation to the institute. On the basis of your confirmation and the CAT 2014 cutoff, you will be offered the admission.
In order to reconfirm your desire to take admission in IIM Amritsar, you have to enter your CAT 2014 Registration Number and Email ID in the field provided below.

The tuition fee for IIM Amritsar will be Rs. 9 lakh for 2 years. The initial batches for the PGP programme will function from the temporary campus situated at Punjab Institute of Technology building, inside Government Polytechnic Compound at Amritsar. The transit campus is located close to Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) Campus.
The students will also be provided hostel facility inside the campus on twin sharing basis. Till the permanent campus is ready, which is expected to be 3 years, IIM Kozhikode will mentor all the activities of the institute.
So far IIM Nagpur, IIM Sirmaur and IIM Bodh Gaya have released their admission criteria for the first academic batch starting from 2015.

Your academic career seems very good. You have done good in CAT. 80 - 83 Percentile range shows that you can definitely expect IIM.
Talking about IIMs, as you might have researched about the last few years' cutoff, the cutoff for OBC of all IIMs range from 80 Percentile and above.
As per the rankings of IIMs, the top five IIMs are-
1. IIM Bangalore
2. IIM Ahmedabad
3. IIM Lucknow
4. IIM Calcutta
5. IIM Tiruchirappalli
You should definitely give priority for the above five IIMs and try to get admission there. Considering last few years' cutoff, you should definitely get admission in any of the IIMs.

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. The cutoff for XIMB goes around 90 percentile every year. It could be high or low depending on the cutoff scores that varies every year. Since your score is near to 90 percentile and if you have a work experience that is worth considering for admission into MBA program. Then you can at least give it a try. You never know what will be the exact situation in the upcoming admission processes.
So, my suggest for you is to definitely give it a try.
