Yes there is a sectional cutt off in all the sections in XAT exam. You need to get a minimum marks in all the sections to be eligible for admission. According to last year trends the cutoffs are-

VA/ and LR- 8-9

If u don't want to Attempt for Entrance Exam.
U can pursue through private colleges.

Govt colleges requires result from students to get admission in MBA.

Entrance Exam is conducted to give admission for eligible as well good Scorer for further career growth with them.

In Exams like Xat , Cmat , mat etc we have to fill college admission form for the every particular college to get call for them ?

For CMAT, MAT and XAT you need to fill forms for colleges individually and all colleges will have its own admission process, some directly admit based on entrance exam scores and some also conducting GD, Pi, WAT.

Henece you need to seperately fill forms and no centralised counselling as such.

MAT and XAT are examination for Management courses like PGDm and MBA.

MAT accepted acroos 600 bschools while XAT is majorly Accepted across Xaviers and its affiliated institute.

CAT stands for Common Aptitude Test Conducted by IIM https://iimcat.ac.in/

XAT Stands for Xaviers Aptitude Conducted by XLRI xatonline.in/

These are the entrance exams conducted by the institutes for entry into top b schools in India .
