TNEA and TANCET are conducted for admission to different degree programmes. For example, TNEA is conducted for admission to B.Tech programmes, wheras TANCET is conducted for M.Tech admission.
So, if you want to apply for B.Tech give TNEA, otherwise TANCET.

The exact dates for TANCET 2018 have not been announced yet. However, the application form will tentatively be available from the last week of January, while the exam for M.Tech admissions will be held tentatively in the last week of March 2018. So, pls keep a track of
