Symbiosis National Aptitude Test
Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that the login credentials are sent over mail only and also other updates such as release of admit card and necessary instructions regarding the exam. You can mail your concern to the admissions department of the SNAP exam and you can request them to rectify the email address you have provided. However, the chances are less to get the email id changed as such cases require you to fill a new form. Still, you can hope for the best and expect a positive response from the admissions department.
I hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future.
Hello Aspirant!
Cutoff for SIOM Nashik is generally around 85-87 percentile but this year, nothing can be said as less number of students have given MBA entrance exams (according to speculation). SIOM is one of the finest institutes in the country for MBA in operations management. If you do not luck out this year I would suggest try again and give it your everything next year and you might even have a shot on SIBM Pune. It is one of the best colleges for MBA in the country and the brand name remains with you forever.
Your academics are pretty decent and this will be in your favour when you go for admissions in any college. In case cut-off is achieved this year I would suggest focus on profile and general knowledge in order to clear interviews.
Hoping that you make the cut.
All the best!
Hello aspirant!
Congratulations on your percentile! I think your percentile is in the safe range for Kashmiri migrant quota in SIBM Pune. In the previous years it has been observed that it has been between 80-83 percentile. But it cannot be said for certain what it is going to be this year.
SIBM Pune is a great option for Kashmiri migrants. There are 2 seats available for this quota. SIBM Pune is known for supporting students with such backgrounds and provides equal opportunities for them to excel. Marketing, Operations, Finance and HR are the 4 specializations available here and the choice is not dependent on percentile or cutoff. Also, the student driven culture is a unique experience as the college prepares its students to be street smart along with book smart.

All the best
You have more of a chance of getting a call from SIBM Bangalore as the cutoff is around 90 percentile. For SIIB Pune, the cutoff generally hovers around 92 percentile. But this year one cannot really comment on the certainty of this as lesser number of students appear to have given the examinations (this is for all exams). So let's wait for the final verdict with hope in our hearts.
SIBM Bangalore is a pretty good option if you don't want to repeat and prepare again. It has been doing well in placements. Give it a shot once the final cutoffs appear.
Hoping that you make the cut in both.
Even though percentile is a variable thing which can change subject to a variety of factors out there, but it is safe to play with an assumption and an idea of what you can expect.
As per sources online, the cut-off for SC category for SIBM lies around 65 percentile. Please note that this might change from year to year at the discretion of the college. But this should be a safe ballpark figure to base your assumptions on.
SIBM Pune is surely a good college to aspire to for any category. It has an illustrious legacy of 43 years which means a huge alumni base. SIBM pass-outs occupy CXO level positions in various organizations and motivate us each day with their amazing career trajectories.
The best thing here is that apart from academics, we also get to learn from other sources like competitions, council events and much more. Students emerge from this college with a confidence that defies expectations. We are grilled into true professionals in the 2-year period.
I would say that all specializations are equally good in the college and one should thoroughly analyze one's interests and go for what you find interesting.
Dear Student,
I understand that this is a common apprehension among aspirants while attempting any exam, be it SNAP, CAT, XAT, and so on. As a student of SIBM Pune (first year) myself, I went through the same preparation phase last year. While I will tell you which topics might come in the exam, it can never be an exhaustive list. You must keep an open mind and cover as much as possible.
Important topics-
General English (Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning, Verbal Ability)
Practice RCs as much as you can
Browse word meanings every day, maintain a notebook with words and their meanings
Synonyms and antonyms
Grammar - basic rules should suffice
Finding errors in sentences - apply grammar rules here
Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency
Basic arithmetic topics like time speed distance, time and work, mixtures and allegations, etc.
P&C and probability - a lot of people ignore this but try to cover enough to answer at least easy questions
Ratios and proportions - the basis of most topics
Percentages, profit and loss
Analytical and Logical Reasoning
Pattern recognition questions
Seating arrangement - linear and circular
Selection
Syllogisms
Coding and decoding
Aside from this, a few tips from my experience-
Do not ignore vocab. Gather as many word meanings as possible and try to identify the etymology behind them. This will help you in remembering them and also identifying other similar words
Focus on reading speed. Try to judge which RCs or paragraphs have direct data-based questions. Solve them first.
DO NOT get stuck on one question. Speed is paramount in this exam.
Use your strengths - When making a strategy while doing mocks, try to judge what your strength is. Use it to your advantage and score maximum in that area.
Do not leave a topic altogether. Study enough to solve easy questions
Needless to say, pick questions wisely
The last mile is the most important phase of the preparation process. Give it your best and I am sure you will crack it. All the best!
Hello student
Once the results are out the participating colleges will issue the SNAP cutoff list. The cut off will vary depending upon several factors such as no of candidates participating, no of seats, difficulty level, reservation criteria. The candidates belonging to lower category have lower cutoff. The expected cutoff for MBA Agribusiness in Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB) is 93 percentile. The cutoff varies every year you can have a overall idea about the cutoff by going through the previous year trends. You can refer the following article for the previous year cutoffs, and other details etc

Hope this helps
Dear Aspirant,
Percentiles are dynamic entities and depend a lot on the level of difficulty and the peer performance on D-Day. This is further complicated by the fact that SIU doesn’t release official percentile to score data.
However, going with extrapolated data from last year and some educated guess, assuming that the trend remains constant, 30-32 should fetch you a call from SIIB for the IB program. But take it with a pinch of salt, because as mentioned earlier, percentiles to score is a tricky topic. Historically a percentile of 92+ has been a safe bet to get a call for the IB program of SIIB.
Once you get a call, the ball is in your park. A good day in office during your GEPIWAT will ensure that you convert the same, irrespective of the margin by which you cleared the cutoff and got the call.
Cheers and all the best!
