To be honest Almost most number of Universities will reject or i can will not accept. Yes, 178 is not that bad but most prestigious universities accept the score above 200. 

Yes you can get many Universities in 178 like 

ICFAI Business School (IBS), Hyderabad ONLY

MISB, Mumbai

MYRA, Mysore

Woxsen, Hyderabad.

Now coming to the Alliance University. It has got mixed reaction, but according to me if you are not getting SP jain or NArsee Monjee or any other at par University then please drop the idea for one Year and Prepare for one more year.
