Hi arjun,

Sorry to say but you are late for filling the nmat by gmac form the last date for filling the form was 14th october. But no issue you are in the last year of your graduation you can fill other exam forms like CMAT, IBSAT, SNAP, TISSNET etc. You can also fill form of other state level CET exams, which also provide admission in top b-schools.

hi i got 191 in nmat , 59 - verbal , 59- logical, 73- quants , are there any chances of getting call from nmims bangalore , mumbai , hyderabad

Saloni Singh 23rd Dec, 2019

Hello Harish,

Hope you are doing well. A score of 191 in NMAT won't help you get admission in the main campus. Even converting into Bangalore or Hyderabad campus will be quite difficult but yes, it may be possible. Further please apply to other colleges also which accepts NMAT score, like IBS Hyderabad, Alliance Institute. Or you can try again and score above or near 210 to get admitted at NMIMS main campus.

All the best Harish !

Thank-you

hey,

nmat exam is conducts  by GMAC is a National level MBA entrance exam. it  is the mandatory entrance test for MBA admission to NMIMS Mumbai and its other campuses as well as 20 other MBA colleges across India. some foreign mba colleges also accept nmat score for mba admission. so if you are planning to do mba from abroad you need to qualify in IELTS Exam along with nmat, for indian colleges ielts exam score is not necessary.

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 16th Dec, 2019

hi,

see iim indoor ipm entrance test is for 5 years integrated management courses, and 10+2 pass candidates can apply for it. where nmat exam is for mba courses which can be applied by candidates who already done their graduation course or final year of graduation courses. see you may follow the questions of ipmat books, but nmat question level is a bit higher than ipmat question.

hope you may get the point.

If i get a score around 200 or less around 190 . Do other colleges take the cut off score or percentile ?

Pranav Mishra 3rd Dec, 2019

Hello Aspirant,

You haven't mentioned your exam I am assuming you as a managmeman student and will talk about the pattern of management exam.

Cut off score and percentile are two different terms and MBA colleges takes students according to the percentile. Cut off is the minimum marks that you have get in the subject for getting the call from the college.

So percentile is the one that college most often take for selection.

I hope the above information is beneficial for you.

All the Best.

what if a person scores less marks than the marks of previous attempts in NMAT? will that affect the scores of previous attempt? if a person applies for retake ,would the scores of 1st attempt be sent or scores of only retake(less marks) will be sent to colleges?

Pranav Mishra 3rd Dec, 2019

Hello Aspirant,

NMAT is the only management exam which offers you more than a single chance in return of your retake fees. So, I always suggest everyone to make advantage of their second or third chance so that they will be able to crack one of the best college of Mumbai that is Narsee Monjee Mumbai (NMIMS).

Your best attempt score will only sent finally and there will no effect of your other retake less marks so don't take tension about it.

I hope the above information is beneficial for you.

All the Best.
