Hi Aspirant,
XIMB is one of the most well known B-schools in the country. The XIMB cut off is based on XAT/ CAT/ GMAT/XGMT/NMAT. The cutoff figures is the minimum score required to be called for personal interview.
Based on previous year cut off trends you need to score 70-85 percentile, 220-230+ marks in NMAT in order get into Xavier Institute of Management.
So with your score you have pretty good chances to get into XIMB.

Hello aspirant,
In 2019, nearly 46,950 candidates gave the NMAT exam whereas in 2020, around 54,000 candidates gave the exam. The exam is conducted by GMAC and comprises of 108 questions. One can only give the NMAT exam thrice which includes the first attempt and two retake attempts.
All the best!
Hi,
The procedure to apply for NMAT retake is to go to the website and to go to the Retake tab in the dashboard of thecandidate's account. You also have to wait for around 15 days before you can retake the the NMAT exam which is twice during the 74 days test window.
I hope this helps,
All the best.
Hello,
189 marks in NMAT is not sufficient to get admission into NMIMS Mumbai. You need to score 220+ . After that you can expect that you can get admission into NMIMS. As the mumbai campus is best campus of NMIMS that is why the cutoff for this will go even higher.
My advice for you will be that prepare again and practise hard. Appear in this exam again and ace the NMAT with high scores.
Best of luck for your preparation.
Hope it helps!

NMAT gives access to NMIMS college which are considered as good b school. And the accepts CAT , XAT and NMAT score.
The other apart in the selection is the 30% weightage to other aspects like good profile, academic background and work experience. And 70% weightage is given to entrance exam score.
The expected score required to get the call from NMIMS in NMAT ranges from 220-248 marks. And working on profile would help you get the expected college.
Hope this information helps and
All the best for the journey ahead.!! :)
Dear aspirant,
Yes there are chances of getting call from NMIMS, if you have good profile and academics score. Because generally the score required for the NMIMS is 220-250+ . But if you have good profile you can expect call even at this score.
It's sure that you can get call from other b school if you have applied on the above NMAT score. And if you are not satisfied with this score then you can give exam In next attempt.
Hope this information helps and all the best for the journey ahead.!! :)
NMIMS is one among the top b school in India. And accepts NMAT, CAT and XAT scores. And to get a call from these college they generally have cutoff ranging from 220-250+in NMAT.
But the college give about 70% weightage to entrance exam and the other 30% weightage is for the gd, pi, and work experience. So if you have very good and exceptional achievement in any extra curricular activities then you can even get call at low score. The cutoff mentioned above is for general category and would vary for the other category accordingly.
All rhe best for the journey ahead.!! :)
As you know to get a call from NMIMS there are many other aspects that count . The weightage for entrance exam is 70% and the remaining 30% has weightage for work experience, academics, overall personality, PI, GD.
Generally the cutoff for general category is 220-246 + for getting into the NMIMS mumbai, bangalore and hyderabad. But if you exceptional profile and have good records or achievements in any extra curricular activities. Then you can surely get a call. But loose hope , apply for re attempt and score good in other attempts.
hello ,
Based on the previous year cut off , the chances of getting at NMIMS MUMBAI is really difficult for you at a score of 213 , as the cut off will be around 220 - 230 , so i think you might not get admission in Mumbai branch , but at this score you will be able to get the other branches of NMIMS , which is also a good option for you .
For knowing the previous years cut off and for more information you can refer the below link of career 360 , which will help you a lot :
