Hi,
NMAT is one of the most competitive exams for getting admission into top B-schools and to answer your question, no it is not necessary to register to NMIMS for each attempt of NMAT. You just need to register only once and the best score will be taken into consideration out of all your attempts.
I hope this helps,
All the best.
To be cleae, NMAT Cut off is actually the minimum score or the percentile that the candidate requires to score in order to be elegible for going to further rounds in the NMAT selection process. The NMAT Cut Off as of last year is 81-85 percentile and 200+ score.
All the best
Hope you are doing great as per the question asked by you, the general cutoff for NMAT ranges from 150-250, so as per your marks obtained you have chance to get in colleges mentioned below:
1) ISBR Business school, Bengaluru
2) Woxsen School of Business Management, Hyderabad.
3) Thapar school of management, Chandigarh.
4) BML Munjal University, Delhi.
5) Indian School of Business(ISB).
Hope you found this answer useful.Stay motivated stay positive.
The cut-off for NMIMS Hyderabad will be somewhat around 195. So if you have a score of around 180 it is very difficult for to you get a call from NMIMS Hyderabad.
But lets do calculate your probability and see how close you are from cracking NMIMS Hyderabad:=> 195 – 180 = 15 marks
=> 15/3 = 5 questions
So you just have to answer a minimum of 5 extra questions correctly considering your current score is 180, to get a call from NMIMS Hyderabad. My suggestion would be that if you have score around 180 in one of your attempts then you should definitely go for another attempt.
Once you get a call from the college you will go through a Group discussion round and then through a Personal Interview round at NMIMS Mumbai.
After the whole process is completed all your scores will be taken into account and then the final decision will be made by the institution.
Hello,
With the score of 137 in NMAT, you will not get admission into NMIMS. To get admission in NMIMS generally the score should be 220+. Also if you want NMIMS Mumbai then you should Target even higher.
My suggestion for you will be that prepare again and give mocks to know your weaker points. After that analyse your mistakes and work on them and reattempt the paper with more practice and confidence.
Best of luck.
Hope it helps.
A decent score of 200+ shall definitely fetch you a call from one of these colleges.
BML Munjal University (BMU)
Jindal Global Business School
Xavier School of Sustainability – Bhubaneswar
Xavier Faculty of management (Urban Management & Governance) – Bhubaneswar
ICFAI Business School (IBS), Hyderabad, and other locations
Shiv Nadar University.
Hope i have cleared your doubt.
