i got 206 in nmat is it possibe i get a calll from vit for mba?

Sakshi Badoni 3rd Jan, 2025

Hello Greetings

VIT Business School considers NMAT scores for MBA admissions. While the cutoff scores vary from year to year, here's a general idea:

VIT Business School NMAT Cutoff Trends

- _Previous year's cutoff_: Around 220-240

- _Average NMAT score for shortlisting_: 210-230

Given your NMAT score of 206, it's a bit challenging to predict a call from VIT Business School. However, it's not impossible.

Factors Influencing Shortlisting

1. _NMAT score_: While 206 is slightly below the average cutoff, it's still a competitive score.

2. _Academic performance_: Your undergraduate degree percentage, work experience (if any), and other academic achievements will be considered.

3. _Profile_: Your overall profile, including extracurricular activities, achievements, and fit with the program, will be evaluated.

To increase your chances:

Next Steps

1. _Check the official website_: Verify the admission criteria and cutoff scores on VIT Business School's official website.

2. _Apply to other colleges_: Consider applying to other MBA colleges that accept NMAT scores to keep your options open.

3. _Prepare for the interview_: If you do receive a call, prepare thoroughly for the interview to showcase your skills and fit with the program.

Keep in mind that admission decisions are holistic and depend on various factors. While a score of 206 might make it challenging, it's essential to stay positive and explore other opportunities.

Have a great day

I have scored 217 in NMAT, Can I expect call from TAPMI?

Shambhavi shambhavi 28th Dec, 2024

Based on your NMAT score of 217, you have a competitive chance of receiving a call from the T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI). Historically, TAPMI's NMAT cutoffs have ranged between 215 and 225.

While meeting the cutoff is essential, TAPMI's admission process also evaluates candidates on several other criteria:

Academic Performance: Consistent academic records in 10th, 12th, and graduation.

Work Experience: Relevant professional experience can enhance your profile.

Extracurricular Activities: Participation in sports, cultural events, or social initiatives.

Diversity and Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills and diverse experiences.

I have scored 217 in NMAT, Can I expect a call from TAPMI?

Prachi Kumari 28th Dec, 2024

Hello,

With a score of 217 in NMAT, here's a general outlook for a call from TAPMI:

  • TAPMI typically has a cutoff range between 200-210 for NMAT.
  • A score of 217 is above their usual cutoff, so it's likely you may receive a call.
  • However, selection also depends on factors like academic performance, work experience, and the overall pool of applicants.
  • TAPMI may also look at sectional scores and overall profile during the final evaluation.
  • It's always good to check their official admission page for more accurate and updated information.

Hope it helps !

I want to study MBA Finance, my CAT 2024 percentile is 87.01 with DILR 68.62 percentile and NMAT score is 233 with QA 68 percentile. I have applied in GIM GOA, GLIM CHENNAI, TAPMI, NIA PUNE, NIBM PUNE, FORE SCHOOL, XIM B. What should be my preference of choice, please guide.

Based on your CAT and NMAT scores, here's a suggested preference order for the colleges you've applied to, keeping in mind that MBA Finance specializations often have specific cutoffs:

  • GIM GOA: Your CAT percentile is above their cutoff, and your NMAT score is competitive. GIM GOA has a good reputation for its finance program.
  • TAPMI: Your scores are well above their cutoffs, and TAPMI is known for its strong placements, especially in finance.
  • NIA PUNE: Your scores are slightly above their cutoffs, and NIA PUNE has a good track record in finance.
  • NIBM PUNE: Your scores are slightly above their cutoffs, and NIBM PUNE is a well-regarded college, especially for its finance program.
  • FORE SCHOOL: Your scores are above their cutoffs, and FORE SCHOOL has a good reputation for its finance program.
  • GLIM CHENNAI: Your scores are slightly below their cutoffs, but GLIM CHENNAI is a well-regarded college.
  • XIM B: Your scores are well below their cutoffs, making it a less likely option.

You must make considerations on specialization, placements, faculty, curriculum and campus life and go for the college that you believe suits you the best.

All the very best!

if i score 112 in nmat what should I do

Afreen 5th Dec, 2024

Basically nmat test is conducted for admission in NMIMS Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru and all these colleges accepts more than 200 plus score in nmat for admission But I would suggest you to not take a drop year, try to get admission in private colleges with this score, I'm sure even in NMIMS Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore, you can get admission… so I think you should take admission or drop another year and try to score more than 200 plus.
