Management Aptitude Test
Candidates seeking admission to the postgraduate management programmes offered in various institutes across the country do not necessarily require any work experience to crack any MBA entrance examination such as CAT , MAT, SNAP , etc. Every year, a number of candidates who do not have any work experience appear for various management aptitude tests, score a great percentile, and even get admission to a number of elite MBA colleges in the country. The work experience can help candidates getting an Interview call, and might help them during Interviews as well. But, having a work experience is not a necessary condition to appear for the entrance examination. Some colleges consider work experience while calculating the composite score while preparing the final merit list of selected candidates.
Hii There,
The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized examination that has been conducted since 1988. Its primary purpose is to assist Business Schools (B-Schools) in assessing candidates for admission to MBA and related programs. In 2003, the Government of India, under the Ministry of HRD, granted approval for MAT to be recognized as a national-level test.
