Dear aspirant
he MAT cutoff for VAMNICOM, Pune usually stays around 50 to 55 percentile. Since you scored more than the minimum marks required there are chances of you getting a seat. And also the final selection in each program will be based upon scores in the entrance, group discussion as well as personal interview. Hi,
There is a reason why do you not get clarification regarding composite score. The composite score is calculated on the basis of performance in the first four sections as these sections are related to the skills required over a longer period of time in the management field.
There is no clarity regarding the number of questions which you need to attempt to get a 500+ composite score because normalizing the score has very less to do with your attempts.
All I can say is an attempt of 100+ questions on 200 with over 80%accuracy should fetch you a 80%ile which will be close to 500+.
Hope this helps!
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well.
According to your question, as per your good percentile in MAT you will get good colleges as per your MAT score. So the colleges which you will get as per your score would be:-
1) N.L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research at 7lakh
2) Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management at 7lakh
3) AIMS Institutes at 9.65lakh
4) KIIT School of Management, Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology at 9 lakh
5) JIMS Rohini - Jagan Institute of Management Studies at 8lakh.
These are the colleges which you will get as per last year cutoff and trends. This may also vary as every year cutoff depends on various factors.

Hi, as a student qualified for IPM and currently studying in IIM Indore, I feel like I have enough credibility to give you some good tips-
1. Thoroughly prepare English and Mathematics under a timed environment- learn to efficiently practice 20 subjective maths questions in 40 minutes etc.
2. Buy guide books like Arihant's IPM preparation book and practice everyday for 3-4 hours minimum. In order to get the maximum questions right quickly, you need to have a good practice set of questions. So, practice from this book, and most importantly, some previous year's papers.
3. As far as online platform is concerned, go for whichever you like ( Careerlauncher is a decent choice), but ensure that the above two points are adequately covered by them. Ultimately, you are the one who needs to put all the effort and hardwork.

Hi Ayushi,
I am a little confused about your query. First of all, though, let me mention that MAT score is valid for one academic year i.e. from the time you have appeared for the examination.
However since you ahve appeared for MAT exam in MAY 2020, you will be able to get admission in an MBA college this very year without wasting an entire year. Some colleges though close their registration process at that time and you have to check that.
Most of the colleges under MAT close their admission process early. So there are very few average colleges in which you can apply and may get admission. And many of the colleges will consider your mat score for next session of 2021.
