What is the cutoff for OBC in CAT & XAT for IRMA ? What is the good percentile to get converted in IRMA for OBC NCL?

Rishabh Jain 5th Dec, 2019

Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that the cutoff varies every year. There are several factors determining the cutoff such as:-

  • Number of candidates appearing in IRMASAT 2020 exam.
  • Level of difficulty of  IRMASAT exam.
  • Number of candidates passing IRMASAT 2020

However, based on previous years cutoffs, it is expected that the Cat and XAT cutoff for OBC NCL candidates will be somewhere around 70 percentile. For your reference, I am sharing a link with you which consists of all the necessary information of the exam along with the expected cutoff.

I hope you found this answer helpful. God luck for your future.

class 10 67% 12 top 4 51% graduation 71% pgdca 65% pursuing a level from ju and sc category can i get call from top b school . iims irma etc

Amod Tripathi 2nd Nov, 2017
Your academic scores are on a lower side and you need to get a good percentile to cover it. It is better if you start at the earliest and prepare thoroughly.

Your chances of your conversion depends on various parameters. Even getting a 100 percentile cannot ensure your selection in any of the IIMs. You need to appear for the WAT and PI process and excel there as well. It also depends on your academics and work experience and there are points for gender and academic diversity. CAT score is about 30-40% of your total score for the final selection. Hence give your best in CAT and then prepare for interviews and ace it. All the best!
