Abhisurya Soni 9th Jun, 2019
IPMAT entrance exam is divided into three parts-
1. Written aptitude test (50%)
2. The PI round (35%)
3. WAT (15%)
The Written aptitude test is divided into three sections, Maths,  English and again maths(fill in the blanks).
Yes,  the basic knowledge of commerce/science is required in PI round also you should be aware about current affairs because in WAT(writing ability test) the ask you to write a short essay on current affairs, they might give you picture, or any image to write on, etc.
That's all, but basic knowledge of formula, English grammar and general knowledge is mandatory.

I have got 50th rank in obc category.will I get a seat in iim Indore?

varunprathore442_6159888 Student Expert 9th Jul, 2019

Hello Sangeeta,

First of all congratulation for performing well in your exams. But with the rank of 50 in the OBC Category your chances seems to be very less as the total number is only 120. Out of 120, 57 are for general category and rest for reserved. There is no announcement regarding the seat distribution in unreserved category but still the remaining 63 seats need to be distributed among SC, ST OBC, PWD etc. Still hope for the best because if around 28 people from OBC category take admission through open category rank then you will definitely get a seat in IIM INDORE.

I hope you will find my answer helpful.

All the best.
