Hi Shubhashish Ghosh,
I am Monika, presently studying in IPM. There are no criteria for you to be a PCM or math student to be able to write IPMAT. I have classmates with me who are non-math but still perform well. The paper has a lot of choices and questions to be able to cover non-math students. All the best
Hi Candidate,
The eligibility criteria for IPMAT for General and NC-OBC students is Maximim of 20 years age and for ST/SC categories is maximum 25 years of age. Arun Sharma's quantitative aptitude is good but it's level of difficulty is a bit higher. You can definitely follow the book. Apart from that you can also follow Quantitative ability by Sarvesh Verma. It's a very good book to brush up your basic knowledge. So you can check out any of the two.
All the very best
