IBSAT: The process is similar to that of SNAP. Candidates need to qualify in IBSAT and secure the minimum qualifying marks. Candidates will be shortlisted based on Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
CMAT: AICTE approved Institutions that participate in CMAT will conduct the selection procedure. Candidates will have to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview based on the Institution they are interested in joining. Dear Rea, if you are appearing for NMAT and CAT, you needn't appear for IBSAT again. This is because NMAT and CAT scores are accepted for admission to IBS. You can fill in the form until January 31st 2020. You also have a provision of entering the scores at a later point in time. After updation of scores, selection process and call letter will be issued tentatively in the month of January 2020. You can register here at: https://admissions.ibsindia.org/IBSAT2019/registration/
No there is no such thing if you compare it with other management exams like CAT and XAT. Ibsat is considered as tough unless you have not prepared well for your CAT. Since the pattern is almost same for all these exams so you will feel less challenges in ibsat.
