Are calculators allowed in IBSAT?

ANPAM KUMAR Student Expert 3rd Oct, 2019

Hey there

IBSAT is an online based exam and thus a virtual calculator will be there. But the questions are asked in such a way that you can solve it without calculator and using calculator will loose your time.

Hey! So i have this query about the admission process in the mba/pgdm program. I have planned to give snap, ibsat, and cmat but i am confused regarding the registrations in colleges. What is the seat locking system?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 24th Sep, 2019

Dear Shivani, there is no option of Seat locking at any these exams that you have mentioned. Admisisons are conducted based on merit list in the selection process. Because these are Institute level entrance exams, you dont have the option of locking a seat.

SNAP: You need to appear for SNAP and score the minimum cut off to be eligible for shortlisting. The shortlisted Candidates have to appear for GE-PIWAT and the final merit list is prepared based on the performance in GE-PIWAT.

IBSAT: The process is similar to that of SNAP. Candidates need to qualify in IBSAT and secure the minimum qualifying marks. Candidates will be shortlisted based on Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

CMAT: AICTE approved Institutions that participate in CMAT will conduct the selection procedure. Candidates will have to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview based on the Institution they are interested in joining. For the selection process of CMAT, please visit our page at: https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/cmat-selection-procedure

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 15th Sep, 2019

Dear Rea, if you are appearing for NMAT and CAT, you needn't appear for IBSAT again. This is because NMAT and CAT scores are accepted for admission to IBS. You can fill in the form until January 31st 2020. You also have a provision of entering the scores at a later point in time. After updation of scores, selection process and call letter will be issued tentatively in the month of January 2020. You can register here at: https://admissions.ibsindia.org/IBSAT2019/registration/

Is it difficult to crack ibsat?

ANPAM KUMAR Student Expert 26th Aug, 2019

Hey there

No there is no such thing if you compare it with other management exams like CAT and XAT. Ibsat is considered as tough unless you have not prepared well for your CAT. Since the pattern is almost same for all these exams so you will feel less challenges in ibsat.

Check about ibsat
