i have got 9400 u_rank in du jat. will i get admission in du ?

deepeshmalhotra3101_9482575 Student Expert 7th Aug, 2019

Dear aspirant,

As the competition is getting tougher day by day, with this rank you cannot get admission in any du college. You can go for other competitive exams and I'm sure you will find a good college. Below is the link you can check for getting detailled information.

Sumit_1492180752 Student Expert 7th Aug, 2019

Hello

It is quite difficult for you to get a college under DU with this score, you can try applying for DU colleges through your best 4marks or can go for private uiversity. You can also wait for all the rounds to get over but dont rely on it.

To know more about check this link:https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/du-jat-result.

Hope it helps.

Will DU release 8th cutoff this year for unreserved category? As DU jat result has just announced, so admissions will withdrawn.

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 12th Aug, 2019

hello aspirant,

see 8th counselling will happen or not that only depends on howmany number of seats will remain vacant. So any prediction about this is not possible. follow the official websites and also follow careers360 website for latest updates.

i got 216 marks out of 380 in du jat exam and 73%in boards, can i expect any lower college in DU??. i am from unreserved category.

Sumit_1492180752 Student Expert 6th Aug, 2019

Hello

It is quite difficult for you to get a college under DU through DUJAT since there is weightage of 65% DUJAT score and 35% best 4 marks, you might check your rank which is the final list you can check here: http://www.du.ac.in/adm2019/undergraduate.html.

If your rank comes out to be less than 1500 there are chances that you can get a college.

Hope it helps.

I appeared for class 12th boards last year and have also given improvement exam for the same .Am i eligible for du jat 2019?

SHRUTI MORE 26th Jun, 2019
Du Jat doesn't completely emphasize on your board percentage. It also considers the score in the entrance exam. And retaking the exam is not a problem and you are completely eligible for appearing in the particular examination.
But here you should have cleared the CBSE exam and should have a minimum percentage of 60.
All the best

Is calculator provided in du jat 2019 . Also, is there any reservation for delhi students in this exam?

Amita Marotkar 26th Jun, 2019

Hello,

No, calculators are not allowed in this exam. This exam wouldn't even need you to use calculators you don't have higher maths and it just has basic maths, no calculus or algebra is asked in the exam. The syllabus for quantitative aptitude in DU JAT is basic maths taught till 10th grade. so no need of calculators as such. No,students passing out from schools in Delhi will not get any reservation in DUJAT..

All the best!

As DU-JAT 2019 is an online exam & Ive never gave online exam. What should be taken care of ? Is it mandatory to do it serial wise?

Nikhil Pareek 28th Jun, 2019

Heya Amit, The most important thing in an online exam is same as offline exam that is time management. You might feel some problem in the beginning but afterwards you will get familiar to it. Also there is no need to attend the questions serial wise. Just go to any question which you want to attend first. Moreover many candidates face the problem in reading the questions online even the text size and format is same because it might not be in habit to be glued to screen for long time reading. So try reading blogs and articles on the screen to make a habit of online reading too. Save every answer that you answer. This is a common problem for many candidates. They just tick the correct option and move to the next question without even saving it. In case of technical issue, stop panicking and call the invigilator at the earliest without doing anything from yourself. These are few tips which will help you. :)
