Delhi University Joint Admission Test
It is a tough exam to crack. Not because the exam is tough but due to the competition , it becomes difficult to crack it. For approx 300 odd seats in BMS there are approx 25000 plus students who write the JAT papers .
Now in 2016 BMS BFIA & BBE where combined together so the entrance exam saw approx 4000 kids getting interview and GD calls
With the new weightage for each level , the entrance exam becomes the most important thing to score the maximum in
The weightage is as follows
Entrance 85 percent weigjtage
Group Discussion 7.5 percent weightage
Personal Interview 7.5 percent weightage
So it's clear how important the entrance is
Lets talk about the paper
It's a 120 mins paper with approx 120 questions with each question carrying 3 marks and 1/3 negative marking for each wrong answer
30 for QA including Higher maths
30 for VA
30 for LR
30 for BA and GA
For getting a call for GD & PI a person should be able to score 60 percent in the paper
For having a good chance in getting into Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies a student should target atleast 70 percent in the DU JAT paper

Hello Divyanshu
Marks have 85% weightage in the exam and the rest 15% is dependent upon GD+PI. The rank depends upon how the fellow examinees perform. Try to score more than 250 out of 360(considering an average gd+pi score) just to be on the safer side.
