Hello,

If you will put right amount of time and hardwork then you will surely be able to get through this exam or amy another exam regardless of its level of toughness.
DU JAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria
The following provided a deep insight into the eligibility criteria of DU JAT 2019:-

As per the eligibility criteria of DU JAT 2019, the minimum percentage requirement for the reserved category, namely SC, ST, CW, and PwD category candidates was 55 percent in each of the four papers considered for computing the aggregate.
The minimum percentage requirement for the OBC (non-creamy) candidates was 54 percent in each of the four papers considered for computing the aggregate. The OBC applicants was given a relaxation of 10 percent in the minimum eligibility marks for getting admissions and for the DU JAT 2019 test a relaxation of 10 percent of the minimum eligibility marks prescribed for General/UR Category applicants.
In case of students awaiting their board results, they were needed to produce the confirmed result and mark-sheet of the qualifying examination on the day of the DU JAT 2019 Counselling/ Selection Procedure for admission in BMS/BBA (FIA)/ B.A (Hons) Business Economics programs.
Candidates without any result confirmation mark-sheets were not considered as eligible, and were not allowed for admissions.
In case of candidates belonging to any other category except general (OBC-Non creamy layer/SC/ST/PwD/CW), needed to produce their category certificate at the final admission procedure.
Candidates with the status of compartment/failing in any of the subjects were not eligible as per the DU JAT 2019 eligibility criteria.
Also, candidates who had appeared for XII class improvement papers were not eligible to apply for DU JAT for the current year. They might apply next year for the same.

I hope this helps.

Is the serial numbers appearing are final ranks in du jat result?

Neeta Singla 24th Jan, 2020

No. The serial number are just to reflect the number of students who appeared in the exam. It is arranged in descending order according to your percentiles.

The categories will be separated and then the final rankings will be given. So there is still time that the Rank list is out.

what can i expect with 86.79 percentile (ews category ) in dujat ? also i am a girl so is there any chance of getting bms in shaheed rajguru

Anik Das 17th Jul, 2019

Hello Jatin,

Please check out the following link for detailed info on DUJAT cutoff: https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/du-jat-cutoff

The ranks required in DUJAT to get into Shaheed Rajguru for BMS course lies between the following ranges as per previous year statistics:

  • Gen: 161 - 625
  • OBC: 3904-6200
  • SC: 5915-7317
  • ST: 13587- 17578

the EWS rank cutoff should be lower than General unreserved but much higher than SC/ST or OBC. So depending on that a percentile of 90 is a safer percentile. But still do not hesitate from applying, you may still get in due to EWS reservation.

Hey,

if you are a general category student it is quite difficult for you to get a college in Delhi University in any if the course with this percentile. accordIng to last year the minimum rank is around 1000 for bbe and even less for bba and bms. You can check the cut offs for different categories here-

In du jat result, only percentile score is given. What is meant by this? Does it include best four weightage also?

Neeta Singla 24th Jan, 2020

The percentile score is just to give you guys the idea of how less you scored in comparison of the highest score. It is just released to think about other things to.

It is just merely your percentile and does not include the best of for score. DU will soon release a proper list where your best of four, JAT score, composite score all will be specified clearly. The percentile list is released by NTA and not DU. So DU will release the official and final rankings on its admission site.

All the Best
