My ranki 4866 Nd I belong to EWS category

mansiprofessional234 Student Expert 17th Jul, 2019

 Hey!

Since this is the first time that there is reservation of EWS category , so its cutoffs can not be predicted from the previous year cutoff trends . But its cutoffs can be expected to be slightly lower than general category and the previous year DU JAT maximum closing ranks for general Category for different courses are as follows;

BMS

714

BBA

625

BBE

1044

Since there is much difference between these cutoff ranks and your rank , and we do not expect such a large difference between the cutoffs of general and EWS category. So , your chances are almost negligible.

But still , you should go for the counselling rounds. Possibly you can get a seat in BBE

My percentile score is 34.2189693 will i get admission in bba-fiA

Anik Das 18th Jul, 2019

Hello Sejal, please check out the following link for detailed info on DUJAT cutoff: https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/du-jat-cutoff

You need a minimum percentile of 90 or above to get into a decent DU college for BBA-FIE course, and even with SC/ST/OBC reservation you need a percentile above 70-75.

So chances are negligible in DU, but you can try for private colleges.

My DU-JAT percentile score excluding my best 4 is 43.5, will the overall rank will increase when best 4 will be included?

Anik Das 18th Jul, 2019

Hello Amit, please check out the following link for detailed info on DUJAT cutoff: https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/du-jat-cutoff

Yes your overall rank might increase when best 4 is included, but it normally doesnt increase by a huge margin, plus you can only include subjects as suggested by DU norms for BBE/BMS courses, and not any best subject.

You need a minimum percentile of 90 or above to get into a decent DU college for BBA-FIE course, and even with SC/ST/OBC reservation you need a percentile above 70-75.

So chances are negligible in DU, but you can try for private colleges.

Since it is late to answer this query and DU JAT admission process has been completed, I hope you have checked the cutoffs. Do let us know if you have any other queries.

I got 87.92%in DUJAT.which colleges can I get admission in.

mansiprofessional234 Student Expert 17th Jul, 2019

Hey diksha!

The cutoffs for DU JAT are different for different courses and categories. And as far as i can see , you have mentioned none. Also , the admissions are not only done on the basis of DUJAT score , it is also done on the basis of 10+2 marks with a 70:30 weightage. So , your percentage in DUJAT  is not enough to predict the colleges for you.

However , you can check the previous year DUJAT Cytoffs by following the given link;

Hello,

If you will put right amount of time and hardwork then you will surely be able to get through this exam or amy another exam regardless of its level of toughness.

Is the serial numbers appearing are final ranks in du jat result?

Neeta Singla 24th Jan, 2020

No. The serial number are just to reflect the number of students who appeared in the exam. It is arranged in descending order according to your percentiles.

The categories will be separated and then the final rankings will be given. So there is still time that the Rank list is out.

All the best

what can i expect with 86.79 percentile (ews category ) in dujat ? also i am a girl so is there any chance of getting bms in shaheed rajguru

Anik Das 17th Jul, 2019

Hello Jatin,

Please check out the following link for detailed info on DUJAT cutoff: https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/du-jat-cutoff

The ranks required in DUJAT to get into Shaheed Rajguru for BMS course lies between the following ranges as per previous year statistics:

  • Gen: 161 - 625
  • OBC: 3904-6200
  • SC: 5915-7317
  • ST: 13587- 17578

the EWS rank cutoff should be lower than General unreserved but much higher than SC/ST or OBC. So depending on that a percentile of 90 is a safer percentile. But still do not hesitate from applying, you may still get in due to EWS reservation.
