Delhi University Joint Admission Test
Hey!
Since this is the first time that there is reservation of EWS category , so its cutoffs can not be predicted from the previous year cutoff trends . But its cutoffs can be expected to be slightly lower than general category and the previous year DU JAT maximum closing ranks for general Category for different courses are as follows;
BMS
714
BBA
625
BBE
1044
Since there is much difference between these cutoff ranks and your rank , and we do not expect such a large difference between the cutoffs of general and EWS category. So , your chances are almost negligible.
But still , you should go for the counselling rounds. Possibly you can get a seat in BBE

Hello Sejal, please check out the following link for detailed info on DUJAT cutoff: https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/du-jat-cutoff
You need a minimum percentile of 90 or above to get into a decent DU college for BBA-FIE course, and even with SC/ST/OBC reservation you need a percentile above 70-75.
So chances are negligible in DU, but you can try for private colleges.

Yes your overall rank might increase when best 4 is included, but it normally doesnt increase by a huge margin, plus you can only include subjects as suggested by DU norms for BBE/BMS courses, and not any best subject.
Hello
According to your percentile, you might have got a seat. DU JAT admission list has been declared and admission process has concluded. Since it is late to answer this query, I hope you have checked the results. Do let us know if you have any other queries. Good Luck!

Hey diksha!
The cutoffs for DU JAT are different for different courses and categories. And as far as i can see , you have mentioned none. Also , the admissions are not only done on the basis of DUJAT score , it is also done on the basis of 10+2 marks with a 70:30 weightage. So , your percentage in DUJAT is not enough to predict the colleges for you.
However , you can check the previous year DUJAT Cytoffs by following the given link;

No. The serial number are just to reflect the number of students who appeared in the exam. It is arranged in descending order according to your percentiles.
The categories will be separated and then the final rankings will be given. So there is still time that the Rank list is out.
All the best

The ranks required in DUJAT to get into Shaheed Rajguru for BMS course lies between the following ranges as per previous year statistics:
the EWS rank cutoff should be lower than General unreserved but much higher than SC/ST or OBC. So depending on that a percentile of 90 is a safer percentile. But still do not hesitate from applying, you may still get in due to EWS reservation.
