Hello Dev.
No.
According to the University of Delhi, the conducting body, the selection procedure of DU JAT 2019 is segmentalised into two parts, namely Qualifying examination (Class XII Board) and DU JAT result 2019. The percentage scored in the qualifying examination will be utilised for preparing the rank which will be calculated as the simple average of the percentage scored in the qualifying examination in four subjects: English, Mathematics and any two other listed subjects. The final selection of students will be made on the basis of the following parameters and weightages:
DU JAT 2019- 65%
Class 12th- 35%
Hello shivam
You don't need to give improvement exam,
Just focus on your DU JAT,if you do good and get good marks, you can definitely get admission in shaheed sukhdev college.
You have good marks in 12th,preparing for both exams can make it difficult for you to give attention properly. But if you are very confident and you know you are so capable of handling both at one time again, you can try.
But my suggestion for you is to focus only on DUJAT,and preparing as hard as you can with dedication, you will definitely crack DUJAT with good exams.
I hope it helps
Best of luck
Dear aspirant!
As you know the competition in Delhi University has increased tremendously this year for all the courses, the cutoffs have gone very high. With 2844 rank in DU Jat entrance exam and being a general category student, your chances of getting admission in any college are very less or either negligible. But still you have some chances for colleges like ramlal anand college , ramanujan college etc.
Best hopes!
Hi Tanushka,
I am sorry to inform you that the number of seats allocated for EWS category candidates in shaheed rajguru is less and your chances comparing with the total number of seats available is very less. You may not obtain a seat there therefore try applying for other options in college selection to increase your possibility of obtaining a seat. Here are the list of colleges
Dear Aspirant,
Congratulations for cracking DU JAT.
You mentioned that your rank is 14105. You have advantage of OBC category.
According to me, you can definitely get a good private college.
Best of luck.
Hope for best.
Hello,
As your rank is 3k+ so basically if you are from Gen category you have less chances to get your seat in college. If from any other category, it will depends on no of seats reserved in that category, so chances for a seat varies according to that.
You can opt for counseling depending on seat to student ratio and which stream or course you are Choosing, cut off will vary. You might get a seat depending on thr cut off. after the counseling those who have cleared the cut off and eligibility criteria ,they will be alloted college based on their rank.
