Is ITM Navi Mumbai is good option in terms of ROI and placements ?? Can I apply to SIES and Chetana for general pgdm course through CMAT score ?

healthcervical 28th May, 2022

The course structure is similar in both the courses.

The only difference is that MBA is a degree which can be conferred by a university(like IITs, which provides many educational courses like management, engineering. law etc ) whereas PGDM can be conferred by any college(like IIMs, which provides education in management field only) as it is a post graduate diploma in management.

It does not matter which degree you pursue as both are having equal importance and will be looked upon equally by corporate both national and international.

When you are looking for a college you need to look into various factors such as faculties, curriculum, placement, infrastructure, diversity etc. and RIIM Pune is above par than any other college in Pune in all those factors. RIIM faculties are well experienced, most of them PhD holders. RIIM Curriculum is updated every year according to corporate requirements. RIIM college has a corporate infrastructure located with in the city limits and easily accessible from the whole city. RIIM students are from all part of India which gives them an opportunity to learn about different culture and how to adapt in different environment. RIIM Placement also compared to many other colleges is very good they provide an average package of 6 lacs and highest has went up to 14 lacs.

i got 54%ile in CMAT, can you suggest me good colleges for PDGM in mumbai out other states?

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 6th Feb, 2020
With your CMAT percentile you may not get a college in Mumbai as the colleges there require more than 90 percentile for students from other states. But if you belong to Maharashtra then you can get a call from SIES Mumbai and NL Dalmia if you have a decent profile as these colleges do a profile based shortlisting for students of Maharashtra.

You can also check out other decent colleges like
  • BIMM Pune (fees = 7.85 lakhs)
  • NDIM New Delhi (9.3 lakhs)
  • JIMS Rohini (7.7 lakhs)
  • IIRM Jaipur (7.2 lakhs)
  • MP Birla Institute of Management Bangalore (1.08 lakhs)
  • SCMS Cochin (7.5 lakhs)
  • SDMIMD Mysore (2.5 lakhs) and others

Good Luck

My name is Vinay. I have taken only the CMAT exam and my score is 98.57. KJ Sumaiya doesnt seem affordable for me. So, Im looking for PUMBA. But I dont know how to apply to this college through CMAT. Can you please brief me about the process. Is it necessary for me to take MAH CET?

Akram Khan 6th Feb, 2020

Hi,

Department of Management Sciences of Savitribai Phule Pune University or PUMBA  takes admission through Centralized Admission Process or ‘CAP’ carried out by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.

For Maharashtra candidates, students have to qualify MH-CET exam. For Outside Maharashtra Candidates (OMS), students can apply through CMAT/CAT/MH-CET.
