Hey Sai,

Yes, he can get admission in the coming sessions as it all depends on the ranking, marks and number of people who are taking admissions. He should wait and attend the other rounds before taking admission in some other course but he should keep applying for other colleges

it depends completely on the degree you are looking to pursue.

You cannot do an engineering degree as for all engineering degrees you require mathematics as a compulsory subject

But you can opt for A b.SC and many other degrees are available to be chosen from.

CAT exam pattern

VARC :1 hour and 34 questions
DI and LR:1 HOUR AND 32 QUESTIONS
QA:1hour and 34 questions

  • duration- 3 hours
  • Mode- computer base
  • Total no. Of questions-109
  • Marks for each question- 3
  • Negative marks for each wrong answer- -1
  • Time for each section- 1 hour
  • Question will be MCQs and Non- MCQs both

Syllabus

You have low score but in sc category you may get a seat in second round though it's not sure.
