Hello,
Technically speaking you will be writing CAT exam in the month of november i.e prior to 2 months before XAT and IIFT which are being conducted in January. All these exams are conducted once a year and have 3 rounds viz- Objective,Descriptive writing/Group Discussion and Personal interviews. You will need to apply each for the most of the participating institutions separately and a Common admission process is also done clubbing some of the institutions. All scores of the first level would be released in the month of January tentatively and you should start applying immediately after the result declaration.Final admission results after all the rounds will be released at the end of May.Best wishes.
The CAT exam is for admission in management courses. But you have tagged Birla institute of technology, pilani.
But probably you must be talking about Birla Institute of Management Technology, Noida. The cutoff of this college is generally 65-70 percentile in CAT. You must secure these marks to get into Personal Interview round.
No, it will be very difficult for you to get a government seat and even in private colleges. Even if you have category ank then too its of no use. Even from the state quota it very difficult to get a seat in good or moderate college. You can try colleges not participating in NEET counselling.
The cutoff for the last two years for DSE in Civil engineering at PCCOE is above 89%.
You can check the official cutoffs for more information. So as you have 86.42% it might be difficult to get admission at PCCOE for Civil branch. You can expect to get D. Y. Patil Akurdi at this Percent.
All the Best!!
Hello Palli Divya,
You have pretty good chances of getting admission in Andhra Medical College under SC category with 491 score, as the cutoff for SC category for this college in the year 2018 was 455 Marks.
You have chances of getting admission in other medical colleges also under SC category.
Congratulations and all the best!
