As you mentioned your academics score,it is below than average and also you dont have any work experience.So,I would suggest you to give CAT exam next year.But i would also suggest you to do some job with preparing for CAT,because along with percentile and academics marks,your job experience

This year BARC is on a slightly higher side at the level of questions asked are also very difficult as compared to previous years and with your score of 34 marks that is around 11 questions correct you can expect a percentile of around 85.

Samyuktha, your CAT score can only help you to be shortlisted at NIT Trichy. For the selection process, you need to appear for their Group Discussion and Final Interview. And NITs need atleast 90 percentile in CAT to be shortlisted for their programmes. The selection process is of 2 phases
