MAT means management apptitude test 

ATMA means AIMS test for management admission 

ATMA is held only once in a year , in a month of may 

MAT is held 4 times in a year , feb may sept and december 

there are 426 management school who accepts MAT  score

there are 134 management school who accepts ATMA score

Yes you are right , some colleges get done with their processes by then. But even after May, you will get calls from private Bschools and management institutions ;especially for direct admission. 

However do check the site of ATMA for list of colleges accepting MAT scores for MAY exam. you can choose the college of your choice. Attaching a link.

The institute follows a grading scale system to convert candidate's percentile in any of the exams mentioned as per its admission criteria. Your academic scores are good enough to be eligible for the admission process.

The final selection is based on the merit which is evaluated out of 100 marks divided into the following parameters -

Hi Rishiraj! Although there is no specific syllabus released by DTE or AIMS for MAH CET and ATMA, based on previous years' analysis, we can identify the important topics. The sections in both exams are same, Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension and Logical Reasoning & Data Interpretation. There are some areas like Verbal Reasoning and Visual Reasoning which are exclusive in MAH CET.
