There is no CAP process for admissions when it comes to MAT or ATMA. MAT score is accepted by around 600 B-schools in the country. All the B-schools have different MAT cutoff. If you qualify the cutoff of that particular institute, you will be called for the admission process which may or may not include GD and Personal Interview rounds.
Yes, you will have to apply separately to the college where you wish to take admission and if you qualify the cutoff, the process moves ahead for admissions.
Good luck.

Hi Akshay
The conducting body of ATMA does not officially impose any age bar or number of attempts to appear in the exam. However, it will exclusively depend upon the ATMA score accepting institute as per its eligibility criteria to offer admission to the candidate.
Thus you may appear for ATMA multiple times as there is no limitation to the number of attempts.
Hi Ankita,
The eligibility criteria is minimum of 50% marks in graduation and qualified in any All India Management Entrance Test like CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT/GMAT.
For admissions you need to apply on their website and if you get shortlisted, you will be called for an interview.
