Hey Sahana! I would like to know that for which exam you want to download Hall ticket so i can further help you in this.
Hello Akshita ,
In order to achieve admissions into the reputed colleges like Welingkar and Pumba , which are the top colleges you can get into with ATMA score , you have to make sure you attempt maximum number of right questions.
We know that the difficulty level of this exam as compared to the other national level management entrance exams is : easy to moderate difficult (except a few questions)
The exam pattern consists of 6 sections :
Each sections consists of 30 questions and has been alloted a time limit of 30 mins for each.
So in total there are 180 questions which need to be solved in 180 minutes ie 3 hours.
Marking scheme of the exam is such that you have 1 mark for each correct question , 1/4 mark is deducted for every wrong question.
So a candidate needs to be doubly sure before he/she marks their answers in the exam.
Because a candidate with 100 right answers and 40 wrong answers will score less than a candidate with 95 right answers and 6 wrong answers.
So one needs to keep in mind to minimize the number the wrong answers
So in order to find yourself in the among the top rankholders you have to work hard and prepare yourself to achieve maximum accuracy when solving the paper.
Dont go to exam keeping a number of question in mind that need to be solved and you might end up marking few questions wrong. Just make sure you prepare so well for the exams that you are able to mark all the right answers.
Also we should not forget that if we average the number and questions and the time alloted. We can roughly solve one question in one minute.
So for that you need to be thorough with your concepts and preparation.
Hence assuming you solve 20 questions on average in every section , with minimum no of wrong questions you will be able to achieve a good percentile of about 90+ with more than 100 right answers
So one should have command over the speed and accuracy both to achieve a good rank and score in such exams

Hello. Yes PUMBA, Pune accepts ATMA score. As per previous year, the cutoff mark was 700 and the cutoff percentile was 95. Though the cutoffs every year may change but you might expect a similar cutoff range this year also.
You can be eligible for admissions provided that you fulfill the eligibility/admission criteria.

Hi Adi Jain,
Thanks for A2A!
ATMA is AIMS Test for Management Admission while MAT is Management Aptitude Test conducted by AIMS. AIMS is All India Management Association. Both the exams are conducted by the same ody and more or less give scope for you to get admission into good B SChools. However, MAT is more widely accepted across B Schools and hence I would prefer going for MAT.
