The allocated seat refers to the combination of program and college. The highest possible preference will be professionally allocated to the students on the basis of:

  • Program specific merit

  • Any other allocation rules.

The merit list will contain the unreserved category of all candidates in order of merit. Which means the merit list of the unreserved category will also include SC, ST, OBC NCL, EWS, and minority candidates.

DU BMS Admissions: Seat Allocation and Admission

After the declaration of BMS allocation results the candidate need to login to their CSAS dashboard for the acceptance of the allocated seat if offered. The candidates must accept the allocated seat before the last date of the given allocation round. After the candidate has accepted the professionally allocated seats the college will verify the eligibility and documents provided by the candidate online within stipulated time.In case the seat is approved the candidates will have to pay the admission fees. In case of any discrepancies found, the college can reject the allocated seat of the candidate. The students can regularly check the dashboard and respond to the queries raised by the colleges in case of discrepancies.

In case of the availability of the seats due to rejections, cancellations or withdrawals multiple allocation rounds will be announced by the University of Delhi. The students who have taken admission can select the upgrade option in these rounds which will allow them to get a higher preference as per the list submitted. Choosing the upgrade option will mean that these students will never be offered the college program combination that they have taken admission into again. The upgrade option will not be available to the students who have taken admission into their first preference. The students who get an upgrade will need to accept the upgraded seat and complete the admission process. Students who have taken the admissions and wish to stick to it must click the freeze button.

After the completion of the allocation rounds if the seats remain vacant the University of Delhi will call for spot admission rounds. The candidates who have applied for the seat allocations but are not given any college can participate in this round. The students can choose the spot admission option through their dashboard.

  • The candidate with a higher percentage in the aggregate marks of the best three subjects of 12th will be given preference.

  • The candidate with a higher percentage of aggregate in the best four subjects in 12th will be given preference.

  • The candidate with the higher percentage in the best five subjects in class 12th will be given preference.

Hello

Yes, it's possible to do an MCom after a BBA. Most universities allow students who have completed a BBA to pursue a Master of Commerce, as there is a significant overlap in subjects like accounting, finance, and economics.  To be eligible, you will likely need to meet the university's minimum BBA score requirements, which are often around 50%, and potentially pass an entrance exam.
