What is CMAT?
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) entrance test is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to the MBA/ PGDM programmes. Around 50,000 candidates appear for the CMAT 2024 entrance test annually. There are more than 1300 B-schools accepting CMAT scorecard in India like JBIMS, SIMSREE, Great Lakes, K J Somaiya, JAGSOM Bangalore, BIMTECH, SDMIMD, etc.
The CMAT 2024 exam will have 100 questions equally divided into five sections of 20 multiple-choice questions in each section. This speed-based MBA entrance exam includes questions from quantitative aptitude, data interpretation skills, logical reasoning, verbal ability, English language comprehension, innovation and entrepreneurship and general knowledge.

CMAT 2024 Admit Card
The National Testing Agency will issue the admit card of CMAT 2024 exam in online mode at the official website - cmat.nta.nic.in. The CMAT 2024 admit card is expected to be released in the second week of May. Applicants can download the NTA CMAT 2024 exam admit card by entering their CMAT login credentials such as application number and date of birth.
Candidates can download the CMAT admit card by following the given steps:
- Visit the CMAT official website- cmat.nta.nic.in
- Click on the download link of the CMAT admit card
- Enter the CMAT Application No and Password or Date of Birth.
- Click on the "Download CMAT exam Admit Card" button on the page.
- Check details and save the admit card in PDF format and take a printout of the same.

CMAT 2024 Answer Key
The NTA will release the answer key of CMAT 2024 exam in online mode at its CMAT official website. Candidates will be able to download the answer key of the CMAT exam by entering their login credentials which will be created at the time of CMAT exam registration. NTA will release the CMAT 2024 answer key a week after the CMAT 2024 exam.
- Go to the official website of CMAT 2024 - cmat.nta.nic.in
- Enter CMAT 2023 Registration Number, Password, and Security PIN.
- Two options - "challenge answer key" and "view question paper" will crop up on the screen
- Click on the "challenge answer key" to view the answer key and download it.
- Match the answer key and verify the response.
Candidates can challenge the CMAT answer key by filling out an online form on the CMAT website and paying fees of Rs. 200 per question.

CMAT 2024 Result
Candidates can check their CMAT 2024 results in the form of a scorecard on the CMAT official website - cmat.nta.nic.in. To check the CMAT 2024 result and download the CMAT scorecard, candidates must enter their application number, date of birth, and security pin.
How to Check CMAT 2024 Result?
The CMAT 2024 result can be checked by following the steps:
- Visit the CMAT website - cmat.nta.nic.in
- Under candidate activity look for the "download CMAT 2024 score card" link
- Enter details on the login tab, including the Application number, Date of birth, and Security PIN
- Click on the ‘submit’ tab
- The screen will display the CMAT 2024 result in the form of a scorecard

CMAT 2024 Selection Process
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved institutes will conduct the CMAT 2024 selection process after the declaration of the result/merit list. As per the officials, the CMAT exam participating institutes will conduct their respective selection procedures for the candidates who obtain the cutoff scores. The CMAT 2024 selection criteria vary within institutes. The CMAT 2024 selection process comprises of:
- GD (Group Discussion)
- PI (Personal Interview)
- WAT (Written Ability Test)
CMAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria
National Testing Agency releases the eligibility criteria of the NTA CMAT 2024 exam along with the official CMAT notification. Applicants who fulfill the academic qualifications, and age limit as specified in the CMAT eligibility criteria can apply for the CMAT 2024 entrance exam.
CMAT 2024 Exam eligibility criteria:
- Nationality: To apply for CMAT 2024, the candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Academic qualifications: Graduates who have completed a degree in any discipline from recognized institutes are eligible to apply for the CMAT exam. Final-year students can also apply for the computer-based online CMAT 2024 exam.
- Age limit: There is no age limit for appearing in the CMAT exam.
Course-wise CMAT 2024 eligibility criteria:
- For Executive PGDM - Candidates should have completed their Graduation degree in any discipline along with five years of minimum experience.
- For PGCM - Graduate in any discipline
- For MBA and PGDM - Candidates should have completed their bachelor’s in any discipline.
CMAT 2024 Registration
The CMAT 2024 registration has commenced on March 29 and applicants can apply until April 23, 2024. Before completing the CMAT 2024 application form, candidates must meet the CMAT eligibility criteria. While filling out the CMAT registration form candidates will have to submit all the necessary documents and personal and academic details. The correction window will be available from April 24 to 26.
Steps of filling CMAT 2024 registration form:
- To begin, visit the CMAT official website- cmat.nta.nic.in.
- Process with CMAT online registration by providing your name, date of birth, email ID, and phone number.
- Confirm your registration and create a CMAT account along with a user ID by verifying through OTP or email.
- Proceed to fill out the CMAT application form by providing your personal and academic information.
- Upload a passport-size photograph and a scanned signature in the specified format.
- Complete the CMAT registration process by making the payment of CMAT fees using a credit/debit card or Internet banking.
