The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is an MBA entrance examination conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council, or GMAC. Every year, thousands of students take the exam in order to get admission into MBA schools all around the world. In India, the prestigious IIMs accept GMAT scores for admission to their MBA program. The exam is conducted in English and includes Quantitative Reasoning, Analytical Writing, Integrated Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning. The duration of this exam is 3 hours and 7 minutes. GMAT is conducted multiple times each year, and a GMAT score is valid up to 5 years from the time of appearing in the exam. The minimum age needed to take the exam is 18 years.
