Xavier Aptitude Test
Hello Aspirant, Hope you are doing good.
Difficulty level of the examination depends on the preparation for the exam by the candidate .
CAT and XAT are difficult exams when compared to other MBA entrance exams.
As though the syllabus is almost same. both CAT and XAT considered to be almost same at the difficulty level . When compared to other parts, the DILR portion in CAT is frequently more difficult than the other sections, while the Quantitative Aptitude component in XAT is frequently more difficult than the other sections. duration of CAT is 120 Minutes with 3 sections, and XAT is 180 minutes with 4 sections.
Hope this information helps you.
All the best.

Hi,

B Schools that you can get at 60 percentile in XAT in Chennai are:
Hope this helps.
Hi reader ,
look percentile and percentage are both completely different things.
percentage stands for the total marks you scored out of the total marks for which the exam was conducted.
since you got 40% it means that you scored 40 marks in an exam which was held for 100 marks.
percentile refers to the percentage of people who are behind you or scored less than you in the conducted exam.
for example if 100 candidates appeared for an exam and 90 scored marks less than you then your percentile will be 90 as 90 candidates are behind you.
so by mentioning percentage we cannot predict the percentile until we know the number of candidates who appeared and the rank you secured.
i hope this helps
thank you

Hi there,
Mba or master of business administration is a two year postgraduate degree majorly focused in management.
See, MBA adds an upper edge in the career of an individual and it allows candidates to grab better placement opportunities with great offers.
As you have mentioned that you are mechanical engineering graduate so yes you can apply for MBA anytime in your life. You can pursue MBA from distance as well.
See, there is a slight difference between PGDM, MBA and E-MBA.
PGDM is a two year diploma degree while MBA is a two year professional degree. MBA has higher value than PGDM. These two degrees are very popular and has better opportunities as well.
Apart from this, you are absolutely eligible for giving CAT/XAT exams. There are no restrictions and eligibility criteria for this degree.
I hope this information will help you.
Thanks!!!
Dear Sheikh,
If you do not get a good college in the first attempt but you wish to crack CAT or XAT, you should surely take a gap year.
A gap year will provide you enough of time and opportunity to prove yourself. You need to work very hard and try your best to get into your dream college. You should be confident enough and focus on your preparation. You should make a good time table during this gap year.
Other things to do in a gap year:
1. Do MOOCS courses on relevant subjects to improve your preparation.
2. Contribute articles to different magazines.
3. Do some NGO work.
4. You can also start your own private tuition centre. Make sure to register it so that you can add it to your CV.
5. Do internships to gain work experience.
These can surely help you to justify your gap year.
Best wishes.
Dear Student ,
Here is the process to calculate the XAT Percentile:
