As the cutoff for TS-ICET 2022 is 25% of total marks for unreserved category,which means 50 marks is minimum to score out off 200 marks.

In any competitive examinations it is always better to have EWS certificate than just being in OC category. Not only in ICET, In EAMCET, ECET, LAWCET, JEE MAIN, JEE ADVANCED or NEET. In all these exams by having EWS you can have some more chances to get into better college. This is because of the fact that 10 percent of seats in any college are reserved for EWS category.

So, it better to have EWS certificate.
