Hi, I have 45.75 Marks in Snap. Do I have chances in any of the campuses?

Harshita Gupta 10th Jan, 2020
Hey Sukanya,

45 marks means that your percentile will be around 70-72. So, you can apply in SIMC, SICSR, SSBF, and SCIT.
All these colleges have cutoffs between 55-70. So, you may get a call.
Once you get shortlisted, you will have to appear in written ability test, group discussion, and personal interview as well. If you perform well in all of these, you may get admission.

You can also use our pathfinder to get more information.

I got snap percentile of 88.64 and score of 66.25, which colleges can be expected?

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 10th Jan, 2020
With your SNAP percentile you can expect a call from the following colleges
  • SIOM Nashik
  • SICSR Pune
  • SIMS Pune
  • SIMC Pune
  • SCIT Pune
  • SIHS Pune
  • SIHS Pune
  • SSMC Bangalore
These colleges accept a percentile ranging from 60-85.  But do go for a college which provides a good program in a course you want to pursue.

Sir already dropped one year after graduation for preparing cat and now I scored really pathetic in cat(49 percentile), xat, snap and Nmat too. Im really confused now that what to do next, should I drop one more year or take admission in any of the average college ?

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 10th Jan, 2020
With your CAT percentile you may not get any good colleges but there are many colleges which select candidates based on their performance in the GD/PI rounds and they don't require you to score much in CAT. You just have to be presentable and show yourself as employable. You can apply for NDIM New Delhi and JIMS Rohini. You can also go for the written exam of IBSAT. They are decent colleges and will provide you a decent job opportunity.

If you have already dropped for a year then it won't be wise enough to drop again because that would create a lot of problems during placements. Some companies like Vedanta, Tata Motors and many other reputed organizations require you to have a maximum academic gap of 1 year.

Do considering all these facts and without further ado you should apply for the above mentioned colleges.

Based on your SNAP score and percentile, you have fair chances of getting a call from Symbiosis School of Banking and Finance Pune (Last year's minimum calling, 65 percentile), Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Hyderabad (Last year's minimum calling, 60 percentile) and Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences Pune (Last year's minimum calling, 60 percentile).

I got 64.1 Percentile in SNAP 2020. I applied only for SIBF-Pune. Will i get call from there ??? Please clarify.

Harshita Gupta 10th Jan, 2020
Hey,

Unfortunately, no. SIBM Pune has an expected cut-off of 97-98 percentile.
But, you can apply in SSBF, SICSR, and SIMC. All these have cutoffs between 55-70 percentile, so you may have a chance.
Once you apply and get shortlisted, you will have to go through written ability test, group discussion, and personal interview. Other than your scores, there factors are also very important in determining your admission.

Hope this helps!

i got 27 marks in snap any chance?

sarthak goel 10th Jan, 2020

Hello Nikhil,

I think your score is quite less and there is almost no chance to get a good college for this score.  Your predicted percentile is around 30. However if your profile is good, you may get a call, although very little chance. Please use the below mentioned link to SNAP pathfinder for more information and guidance.

I suggest you to prepare for other exams.

Hope this Helps

i have 20.788 percentile and score 32.250 i have chances in sicsr college to be admitted yes or no

SAKSHI KULSHRESHTHA 10th Jan, 2020

Tripti, SICSR Pune accepts students with a percentile of 82 or higher. I am sorry but with your percentile, you would not get a call from them.

You need to have at least 55- 60 percentile to get through a college under SNAP. Top colleges like SIBM Pune, SCMHRD Pune, SIIB Pune and SIBM Bangalore accept students above 90 percentile only. Hence I would suggest you to take a drop this year and aim for at least 85 percentile in the next SNAP to get a good college.
