Symbiosis National Aptitude Test
The section-Wise difficulty level of the SNAP exam
The General English section consists of verbal ability (grammar and vocabulary) and reading comprehension. The vocabulary questions are considered easy in the SNAP exam. Among the RC passages, it is advisable to choose the direct ones. Skimming through the passage and questions in a single glance easily gives an idea about the difficulty level of the passages. Someone who is preparing for exams like CAT 2020 or XAT 2021 will find the General English in SNAP 2020 easy.
The QA, DI & DS section consists of 20 questions. Around 40 percent of questions are arithmetic (Number System, Time Speed Distance, Time % Work, Percentages, Profit & Loss, Averages and Ration & Proportion) and 18 percent questions from Geometry & Mensuration. The level of questions not very tough. Usually, there are two DI sets out of which one is easier, so that’s a wise choice to attempt.
The Logical & Analytical Reasoning section is considered tough and needs extensive practice. The questions in this section are not set-based. Thus, you may have to dedicate the maximum time in this section. However, questions on the following topics are easy – Input/output, Visual Reasoning, Series, Puzzles, and Mathematical Reasoning.
Hope i have answered your query very well.
Symbiosis National Aptitude Test known as SNAP is AN Entrance Exam for Admission to 16 Symbiosis Institutes in India . DONT PUT PRESSURE ON YOURSLEF AT THE LAST MINUTE . TAKE A DEEP BREATH AND DO THIS.
ALL THE VERY BEST
Dear Aspirant,
Hope you are doing great,
Generally going by the previous year SNAP question papers, the GK section covers questions in Current Affairs related to that year.
For example, you can find the following question asked in one of the previous years
(2013) Which country won the ICC Women’s World Cup held in February 2013
India
New Zealand
England
Australia
Since the SNAP question paper would be possibly prepared a couple of months prior to test, it would be safe to prepare current affairs till October 31.
I hope this will helps you,
Best of Luck :)
Not easy of course! But As per the Experts and students' feedback, the SNAP 2020 was of moderate level. SNAP, also known as Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is a common entrance exam for admission into the MBA program of Institutes of Symbiosis International (SIU). The SNAP is a mandatory entrance exam for 16 Institutes under SIU.
One more thing there is easy or difficult, i.e. level is actually not only depends on the questions asked but also at how many test-takers are there.
XAT occurs once a year, but it has no limits on the amount of attempts you can take. You can retake it every year until you get your desired score. SNAP is conducted thrice a year, but a candidate can apply to maximum 2 attempts in one year. Hope this helps, good luck!
SNAP and NMAT exams. Both exams can be taken up at the same time as most of the portion is the same. What is different is just the marking scheme, the number of questions asked in each section, time limit, etc. But if you wish you give only one exam then give that exam in which your target college accepts the score.
Thus, when it comes to selecting one exam over another exam then one must decide upon which college he wants to target. For the NMAT exam aspirants usually only target NMIMS Mumbai or other NMIMS campuses, whereas SNAP exam aspirants generally target Symbiosis College, Pune.

Hi,
It is never too late to prepare for anything. Though SNAP requires good amount of hardwork for 3-4 months but you can still score well if you are determined to. I recommend you to prepare yourself a good timetable and study early in the morning as mornings are good for learning. Focus on prearing the basic concepts and core learning. Prepare from books such as Arihant Descriptive General English by SP Bakshi, Quantitative Aptitude Quantum CAT for admissions into IIMs and Word Power made easy by Norman Lewis.
