The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) conducts an MBA entrance exam every year, known as NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT) 2019. Eligible candidates can start registering for NMAT by GMAC from July 2 till October 3, 2019. NMAT by GMAC  2019 will be conducted in online mode, over a span of 75 days.

A test taker can take the NMAT by GMAC™ up to a maximum of 3 times (first attempt plus 2 retake attempts) including no shows, if he/she wishes to.

Not every college accepts NMAT scores. The top colleges are NMIMS Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. For the Mumbai campus you'll have to score at least 210 and for other campuses it's 208.

For XIMB they consider the percentile and not the score. The percentile required is over 90. 

For IBS Hyderabad it's 150. 

But you'll also have to have a decent profile so that you can easily get a call. 

There are few other colleges which are not bad like Galgotias University and other colleges.

It's not always true. The fact is just that you can have three chances of writing NMAT and the duration for the exam extends to 3 months. So the tests appearing earlier are comparatively easier than the tests later. So it's always better if you take the test in October and not schedule it to later dates. It has nothing to do with CAT exam

To get admission in IBS Hyderabad you need atleast 150 and above score in nmat.

For IBS Banglore you need 120-150 score.

For IBS mumbai you need same,around 150 that's it.

Hyderabad is  best between these three in terms of placement and infrastructure.

As your query is you want to know that you have to fill the any empty form where you need to prefer 5 colleges and after that you want to know whether you have to fill the name of those five prefered colleges one second or except for the selected ones. 

The concept for re-applying for the preferences is just that in any case if you feel that you can go with some better options or you have found out then you can go with the earlier selected one, so there is not any such condition that you read need to repeat all the names provided with but you can go with some new colleges on you options as well.

registration, you need to login with your login credentials to fill
the application form of NMAT. You would need to fill in your
personal information, contact information, education and work
experience, programme/school preference and additional information as
asked. Up to five programmes/ schools can be opted under the “School
Preference” section. Beyond five programmes/ schools, a payment of
Rs.200 + applicable tax will be applicable for each school/
programme. You would also need to upload your photograph.
