Can anyone explain to me about "No shows" in NMAT exam by GMAC

Smeet Almeida 7th May, 2020

Hello, Likhith.

The NMAT examination by GMAC allows an individual to appear for the exam a total number of 3 times, including 'no shows'

Here, 'no show' refers to the absence of the aspirant during the time of examination. If an aspirant, due to some reason, is unable to appear for the test on the scheduled date, it will be counted as a failed attempt.

Hope this information helped you.

Good luck!

Can i attempt for nmat 3 times with in 10 days of 75 day allotted period.

harshitasharansrivastava Student Expert 7th May, 2020
Hello aspirant,

No you cannot take nmat exams three times within a time period of 10 days. The NMAT exam is allowed to be given for three times in one academic year and the Test taker are allowed to schedule the retake test on a date which is 15 days or more, later than the date of his/her previous attempt. This means that there must be a gap of atleast 15 days between two nmat test which a student takes.

Good luck

S. Saha Student Expert 12th Apr, 2020

To be eligible for NMAT, you need to qualify bachelor's degree from a recognized university with a minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates with 2-3 years of work experience will be preferred. Final year candidates can also apply but you have to show all the required documents like results, qualifying certificate etc at the time of admission.

can I take admission in narsi munji indore in MBA my score in nmat is 125

S. Saha Student Expert 20th Apr, 2020
Usually the NMAT Cutoff for NMIMS campuses is high compared to other B Schools. The cutoff is around 210+ marks in NMIMS, Mumbai, for other campuses you need a score over 180 at least. With 125 marks, it is hard to get any top B schools. But you can accept Alliance University,  Amity University, Delhi-NCR etc.

I have scored 156 in nmat and 171 in cmat. In which colleges i can apply ?

Vaishali Singh 1st Mar, 2020

Hi,

There are many colleges that will accept this score but it depends on what kind od college you want to take or in which city. Also it depends upon the amount you are willing to invest and the return the college gives. Some institutions you might get a call from are Doon business school, VIT, Athena school of business, IES management college, etc.

I am totally confused of choosing colleges with help of my CAT percentile 50.62 and NMAT score with 151? whether can I get into top bschools ? can I have some list of those colleges too?

Sampriti Gupta Student Expert 31st Jan, 2020
With your CAT scores you can still check out some decent colleges like
  • NDIM New Delhi (fees = 9.3 lakhs)
  • JIMS Rohini (7.7 lakhs)
  • BIMM Pune (7.85 lakhs)
  • Globsyn Business School Kolkata (7.6 lakhs)

These are some good colleges who select their candidates based on their performance in the GD/PI rounds. You'll just have to apply to the college and select the city where you want your interview to be conducted and they'll call you for the process there and based on your performance there they will select you. The average compensation package offered there is nearly 5-6 lakhs.

With your NMAT scores the best option you have now is ICFAI Business School Hyderabad and other 8 campuses. They also require a minimum of 150 in NMAT and they'll call you for the GD/PI rounds in Hyderabad and based on your performance there you'll be allotted one if the 9 campuses. IBS is good for marketing and finance programs. Among the IBS campuses the top 3 colleges are
  • IBS Hyderabad ( fees = 14.1 lakhs, average compensation package offered last year =7.8 lakhs)
  • IBS Pune and IBS Mumbai ( fees = 8.1 lakhs, average package offered last year = 6.5 lakhs)

Good Luck

With 166 in nmat, should I apply to Xaviers Sustainability Management programme and expect to get a call?

Abhilash Biswal 27th Jan, 2020

If you are a domicile student, then you can easily expect a call. If not then after conversion if your percentile is more than 50 then you can expect a call.
