NMAT by GMAC
Hello Aspirant,
KJ Somaiya college had recently announced , that they are going to accept NMAT score. It is a very good college and the MBA program there has been gaining a lot of demand . So like other top colleges like NMIMS, Xavier Institute of Management etc , to keep a safe assumption , a score of 230-235 + would be the cutoff for KJ Somaiya. But it need not necessarily go that high , even if you have 200-210+ , you can very well apply , there are chances they will accept in that score range too and mostly , they may not focus on sectional marks. Anyways, wait for the official info from their side regarding the cutoff requirements. So if you have 200+ it is wise to apply and start preparing for the PI and GD rounds .

Hey did you get a solution? If so, how long did it take ?
You have scored well in NMAT . The expected overall cutoff range for most if he top colleges is 200-220+. Some colleges will give priority to sectional cutoffs too while making the final selection , so if you have 70-75+ in all sections then, you are on a safe side for all colleges. And to your second part of the question, yes, you need to apply separately to all the colleges you wish to try for through their official website. Below are some good colleges you can apply for:
Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS Mumbai)
Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB), Bhubaneswar
BSE Institute Limited
Amity University
Shiv Nadar University
BML Munjal University
ITM Business School, Navi Mumbai
GITAM School of International Business, Visakhapatnam
Woxsen Business School, Hyderabad
ICFAI Business School (IBS), Hyderabad
Alliance University, Bangalore
SDA Bocconi, Mumbai
Once you have applied , start preparing for the PI and GD rounds, as they are crucial for final selection.
All the best
To secure Calls from Campuses of NMIMS, you must target atleast 235-245 in NMAT Exam. However, with a Score of 219 in NMAT, you do have chances in securing call/admission from some of the Other Top Management Institutes accepting NMAT Score.
