NMAT by GMAC
Hi, Shiv Prakash
Sadly, it is difficult for you to get any good college at these marks. Because most of the good colleges start at the score of above 180 or 190. I think that you should give another attempt and try to maximize your score over there to get a good college. Because MBA is the degree that you do once in a lifetime and you should do it from the top brand only so that you get a push in your career. So, work hard and I believe that you can improve your marks and can get admission in your desired colleges.
Best wishes

Hello everyone I will try to give some brief idea about the scaling process of NMAT-
Your NMAT by GMAC exam scores will be published on the website approximately 4-5 weeks after your exam date. Once the scores have been published you will receive an email indicating that your scores are available. You will be able to access your scorecard by logging into your NMAT by GMAC account. Once the final percentile score is announced, your scores will be sent to the schools that you elected to share your scores.
What is included on your score report?
Your Final score card will include a scaled score for each section, a total score as well as a percentile ranking. The following table lists the range of scores possible on the different sections of the NMAT by GMAC exam.
Score Range-
#Quantitative Skills -0-144
#Language Skills-0-96
#Logical Reasoning skills-0-120
#Total-0-360
The window-wise scores are released 4-5 weeks after you have taken the test and your scorecard will be updated with scaled scores for all the attempts. You will be notified by email once the scorecard is available and you can download the scorecard by logging into your NMAT by GMAC account. The final percentile rankings for this year will be calculated after all the candidates have taken their exam(s) and will be announced and updated in your scorecard on the 3rd week of January 2018.
Scaled scores and percentile scores
Scaled scores - All of the test forms are equated to account for any differences in overall difficulty and the raw test scores are placed on a common scale. This process ensures that scores are comparable across test forms such that the scores are not impacted by different candidates getting different test forms.
Final Percentile Scores: The Final Percentiles for each year are calculated at the end of the year after all candidates have completed taking the NMAT by GMAC exam. Your scorecard and the scorecard that is sent to schools will be updated with the final percentiles.
If you want any suggestions or help related to admission you can let us know asap. we will definitely solve all your queries.
Thanks a lot and best of luck.

The NMAT 2021 examination pattern is as following and the marking scheme has been mentioned below-
• Language Skills - 36 questions - Time alloted 28 minutes
• Quantitative Skills- 3 6 questions - Time alloted- 52 minutes
• Logical Reasoning- 3 6 questions- Time allotted - 40 minutes
Marking Scheme:
• Each objective type question of the NMAT exam carries 1 mark
• There is no negative marking in case of wrong attempts
• Zero marks are awarded for unattempted questions
• Once the candidate ends a particular section, all answers are considered final.
Hence it is possible to score marks that are non multiple of 3. Earlier marking scheme awarded +3 for every correct answer hence it wasn't possible to score marks that isn't a multiple of 3.
