how to calculate NMAT percentile

Shreyosi Santra 27th Dec, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing well. As per your query let me tell you that The NMAT GPS is reported with a corresponding percentile rank (PR) that ranges from 1- to 99+, with a midpoint of 50. The PR indicates the percentage of NMAT examinees who have NMAT scores the same as or lower than the examinee.

To calculate the percentile rank, you need to know the percentile of the item you're ranking. You can find the percentile of a specific score using this formula:

Percentile = (number of values below score) ÷ (total number of scores) x 100

Hope it will help you

Thank you.

When do we start getting calls from colleges after giving nmat exam? As in how many days?

Shivam Gupta 27th Dec, 2021

Hey Aspirant,

Hope you are doing great,

According to NMAT changes, your scorecard will be mailed to you within 48 hours of taking the exam. This means you'll have more time to plan your next move carefully and strategically.

If you score lower, you will have more time to prepare for the next attempt and perform better. If you get a good score, you can always start preparing for CDPI, which is also not easy. So, in any case, the candidate is in a win-win situation.

I have scored 232 in NMAT conducted yesterday. Technically this is my retake attempt as I was not able to take first attempt due to technical errors and, hence, my first attempt is marked as absent. Based on my retake score, which colleges I can apply now?

ayanmukherjee045 25th Dec, 2021

Dear aspirant,

Let me tell you that 232 is a very good score in nmat and you will get top colleges through it. However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

You can get colleges like school of buisness dehra dun, narsee monjee ,School of Business Management SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
