IIM Indore Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test
HI,
JEE is a journey that not Some can complete in the first attempt. If you are a JEE dropper and have failed to clear JEE in your first attempt and you have decided to go for a drop it’s perfectly normal
its okay to drop a year, Dropping a couple of years is not advisable, and I dont think the Clat committee will change the age criteria the next year, they have nothing against droppers unless you have a 3-4 years age difference from the required one. one year will not make a difference although the time the next clat comes around the competition will surely increase..
Dropping a year doesn't guarantee a successful CLAT. Only hard-work guarantees it. You've got to ask yourself if you're confident and ready to put in another year of CLAT hardwork?
Before dropping a year, make sure to answer 3 important questions by yourself:
Whether you are mentally ready to sit down again and re-prepare CLAT for another full year?
Whether you are ready to face and repeat entire prep process for another 365 days? (Remember, a year of time is massive)
Whether you will be able to maintain the same level of confidence and vigour while preparing for CLAT, without getting stressed and bored?
Thats about it. Ask yourself and seek answers.. If everything goes well, take a drop!
The WORLD WILL NOT END if you drop a year! It's common, many do it. You're not losing anything. Keep calm.
Take your decision consulting your mentors and family. They are going to be your support system even if you drop a year for CLAT.
All the very best.

Hello Kunal,
Yes, you are eligible to apply for IPMAT even though you have Biology and do not have Maths.
The exam consists of 2 sections - Verbal Ability and Quantitative Aptitude.
Hi Pranav,
It's completely fine if you don't have maths in 12th standard. Mostly, in the entrance exams, maths till 10th class are being asked. So if you can cope up with basic maths concept till 10th standard then it would be easier for you to crack an exam. wish you good luck.
Hi Vishwa,
There is no such fee ralaxation rule in IIM Rohtak for five year intergrated BBS+MBA course to poor family. However, there are various scholariship that may help you get some benifit while pursuing the course. This may benifit you is some way though not exactly fee ralaxation.
Hope it helps
Hi Sparsh,
There won't be much disadvantage. As lot of people from Science background opt for management courses. If you are sincere and focused in your studies you will surely be able to cope up with these subjects. Accounts and Economics are really interesting and career/job related subjects. So it is neccessary to clear your basic concept in these subject.
wish you good luck.
If you have drop after 12th then it will consider gap between your education which may affect your placements or for IPMAT but if you have valid reason for that gap then they will consider it. for that you have to convience them with proper reason and what you did during that time. Also there are some companies which accept gap for placement. Don't worry perform well after that gap so that they consider your request.
All the best!!
