What are the books that is essential for IPM-AT?

Fiza Student Expert 23rd Mar, 2019

Hey Tanmoyee,

As of now, there are no such books with exact IPM difficulty level questions. But "Pearson's guide to IIM Indore" is the most recommended one. So as far as the aptitude test is concerned, buy the Pearson book for the exam. Focus on quant and verbal 2–3 weeks before the exam. Give more time to quant as it can sometimes get tricky, solve past papers and mocks when you’re done with the book. You cnnot completely depend on any of the sources as even the sample papers issued by iim i itself are not in par with the actual questions.

Good Luck.

I have just appeared for my Higher Secondary exam and I am waiting for my results. Am I eligible to give this exam in May?

Kriti Tiwari 23rd Mar, 2019

Hey,

IIM Indore is the first IIMs to introduce 5-year IPM course to enable aspirants to nourish their creativity and skills. The exams is to be conducted on May 10, 2019.

The following is the eligibility criteria to give the exam;

General & NC- OBC :- Minimum of 60% marks in class 10th/SSC & 12th/HSC or equivalent exams in 2017,2018 & appearing in 2019. The age limit is maximum of 20 years of age as on August 01, 2019.

SC/ST/ and PWD (DA):- Minimum of 55% of marks in class 10th/SSC and 12th/HSC or equivalent exams in 2017,2018 and appearing in 2019. The age limit is maximum of 25 years of age as on August 01, 2019.

    Since , you've just appeared for the higher secondary exam and your results aren't declared yet, you won't be able to fulfill the eligibility criteria of mentioning your class 12th result and that too above 60%(if gen).

IPM plus is a 9 month preparation course designed for Higher Secondary both for students passed and appearing.

Whereas IPM express is a short term preparation course of 2 to 3 months which is ideal for students in final year of schooling and wish to prepare for exam after 12th.
